"Billy Chan was having the summer most 12-year-olds dream about, bonding with his very own dragon. But Billy's friend Dylan has been kidnapped by the Dragon of Death, and the only way to save him is to travel through time with his friends and their dragons. Will Billy, Charlotte, Ling-Fei, and the dragons get to Dylan in time? And can they work together to stop the Dragon of Death from destroying the past?"-- Review: Awesome - We received book one at Chirstmas when we were on the last couple of chapters we went ahead and ordered book 2. This series is fun and entertaining. Review: Kids love it! - My boys love this series and can’t wait until the next book comes out! It’s a fun adventure that keeps them wanting to read more than our required daily reading time. I can’t complain about that.

Good series!
My boys love these books: they’re easy to read and fun. They portray both girls and boys as strong and capable. They are formulaic, but some children appreciate that.

Great read, big step up from book 1! Great for dragon enjoyers
I enjoyed this book a /lot/ as an evolution of book 1, by a significant degree! I was neutral positive with book 1 and it was a fun fantasy romp and book 2 took it up a notch. We get to really see our heroes struggling and trying to resist the dangers of darkness as they travel across the realms to save their friend. I very much enjoyed getting to see Billy tested as a character and the kids develop further in their powers, and I won't spoil much but the progression and build to the end had me HOOKED. I highly recommend this to fantasy or dragon enjoyers looking for a good adventure
