Gutermann 731323/1 Jeans Extra Strong Polyester Sewing Thread 100m x 3 200m x 2

Just used the Medium Denim thread from this set to machine darn a pair of expensive jeans that had started to go at the knee; the look may be in fashion, but it's not for me :-) The thread is strong and the colour and feel is just right for denim. A comprehensive set, with plenty of options should you choose to get adventurous. As purely an amateur, It will probably last me for years.

Very strong thread and the colours ideal for jeans. At least it didn't break while sewing thick jeans with my sewing machine, and it seems difficult to break from tension. Also much cheaper than buying individual spools. It is thicker than the standard gutermann thread.

Says it all really, this thread is invaluable for Jeans but I have also used for overall repair and canvas. Very strong and the colours are lovely.

This thread has a nice thickness to it that, along with a denim needle, gave me the perfect stitch. The colours I needed were an exact match, too.

Good strong thread that copes easily with heavier weight fabrics and doesn't break in the machine. The three blue shades enable easy matching for most denim colours and the red and orange threads are very good for replicating the trim when shortening jeans or repairing pockets or belt loops.
