Why do they state it's unscented when the ingredients say "fragrance"? I cannot have any scent or fragrance at all on my skin!

The word "paraben" does not appear in the list of ingredients listed on the product. Also, there is no ingredient name that contains "benzo", e.g. parahydroxybenzoate. Therefore, I *think* the answer to your question is yes. What I can state with confidence is that this is the only product I've found that is effective and does not sting.
