Horrible, and I do mean horrible directions
I was just about to give up and send this thing back when I figured out what to do and got it to behave. Once I put it on, I was happy with it, and it does work as a good reminder to sit/stand up straight. Glad I figured it out (I realized that the directions were on the back of the package insert after I'd finally got it assembled), because I'm happy with it. Decent value for the money, and I'm wearing this several hours a day under a couple other layers of clothes and on top of my thermal shirt. Comfortable to wear, and it's behaved itself pretty well while I do a workout DVD where I'm reaching out, up, and making other arm movements.

Upper back brace
It's very lightweight and was very difficult to read the instructions to get it connected. Had to use a magnifying glass. Just received it yesterday, and too soon to determine if I'll like it or not and could give a higher rating. I will come back in a few weeks, and give an update. Wore it for an extended period of time today, and it was ok.I do want to suggest that when mailing, that you use a more protected shipping method. It was just in the plastic zip top bag with a label put on it. It actually looked like it was a returned item - the inside instructions looks like they had been somewhat balled up and with the holes in the bag to make it breathable, who know what it had touched.

Shoulder Pain Gone
This has helped my weak rotator cuff SIGNIFICANTLY. I wear this when I have a flare up of my left shoulder/trap/rotator cuff pain and it truly works. I highly recommend wearing this for shoulder pain (as it provides support) and to fix your posture. I have since noticed an improvement in mine and will wear this occasionally to ensure I don’t lose my posture. My physical therapist said this is good to wear, but eventually need to teach my shoulders to stay back so I’m weaning off of it and it has really helped!

Instant relief
I didn’t expect to notice an immediate difference upon the initial wear but, as soon as you put it on and adjust the straps you can feel the adjustment in your shoulders and neck. I’m excited to see how it helps over time. The only con (which could be a user error) is that it is a tad bit confusing to setup and the directions weren’t very helpful, for me. Which is the reason I gave an overall of 4 stars. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

Hard to figure out
i bought this to help with my horrible posture and well it works. It does make me sit taller and have better posture, but it was incredibly difficult to figure out how to put together, the instructions are not clear on what to do and the pictures are way to hard to see what your supposed to be doing, i ended up looking up a youtube video with a posture corrector similar to this one and finally put it together. otherwise a good product.

Disappointed after a few weeks of use
This started well, but now I have stopped using it. After about a month of use, the fabric and/or elastic has stretched, and the brace now creeps up my back and hits me high on the neck, about where a t-shirt neck opening would be. This is uncomfortable, and makes the brace visible unless you are wearing something with a high collar. Also, on the back are two black plastic squares, which the straps pass thru. One of the squares was not sewn in tightly enough, and has turned 90 degrees (see photo), causing the strap on that side to bunch up, also uncomfortable. Originally I liked the design, but after several weeks of use, I do not recommend this. I have purchased another similar brace, different design which I like much better, and seems to be higher quality as well.

Alert, yes. Correct, no.
I don't know if it's me and this is the wrong product for me, the crappy directions (what second elastic???), or if the universal is too big/small (if it is i cant even tell which).I have an old muscle strain that got aggravated by slouched posture. So essentially now my muscles in my chest have tightened to pull my shoulders forward to hunch unless I very actively think not to.I bought this to try and pull my shoulders back or keep myself from immediately moving back to hunching over the second i focus on anything else. It doesn't do either of those things.I followed the directions exactly minus this invisible second elastic unless it's referring to the extenders as 1 or 2 that isn't in the pictures above. The elastic built into it is so small across it encourages the straps to twist (the straps are over it not under in the pictures, suspicious) and you can't pull it tight like shown when it's under them so I have no clue how someone is supposed to put this on alone since you'd need four arms to pull the straps out horizontal and keep them there while your extra two arms put them under the built in elastic and pull it up your shoulders. In their pictures and some review pictures the straps are somehow going out horizontal from the back piece so maybe the back piece is just too long for me but this looks to be the smallest??? Thankfully my husband was here to help me and we tried several things to make it work since I'm desperate for something to help my issueI am by no means a small woman or heavily overweight/ plus sized so I have no clue what this could offer to someone as small as the pictures and I'm half convinced the straps which are stretchy are either WAY too long or WAY too stretchy because the ONLY way I felt any resistance was when my husband stretched the straps way over my head as far as they could go over my shoulders and velcroing them to the back piece not shoulders. It offered the tiniest bit of pull which didn't keep my shoulders in place in good posture nor did it offer remotely enough resistance to even pull my shoulders back a millimeter. It essentially felt like very mild weight on my shoulders hunched forward only alerting me that I was hunching and not correcting the posture at all.I don't know if just my straps are defective by being too long or stretchy, if I'm somehow doing it wrong despite watching videos of how to put it on with extremely similar products, or if these reviews are heavily curated and skewed as I saw someone mentioning they offered a 50 dollar gift card if you email them. Something is not right with this
