DonDo3M Scotch SJ 3550 Dual Lock Hook and Loop, 1 m x 25.4 mm

This dual lock tape is very good It’s very strong. It’s also quite unobtrusive However, the advert shows it in the time honoured way of two sides together; hence the “dual lock”. What it fails to mention is you get 1 x 1 metre length of the tape; so your 1 metre of dual lock is actually 50cm of usable adhesive tape. It would have been expensive at £10 a metre, but £20 a metre is really pushing it!! I’ve had to reconfigure the job I needed it for and compromise the amount of fixing I wanted. Great tape; but feel a bit misled on this one 😟

the product is ok, but the image needs updating to show that you only get one single-side strip, so you only get half the length you think you are. To use it you need to cut it in half so you have a piece for each side. Not impressed that this isn't made clear in the product description.

i bought it to fix guitar effects pedals to a pedal board. and it works really well....the board is too big to pick up and take a picture of so unfortunately you will just have to take my word for it...however i also had a need for a secure fixing for a dj controller which has been perched precariously on the mount i bought for it. the pix are all of the rear of the controller and show the velcro-type material between the controller and the 2 supports which they sit on....you don't get a huge amount when you buy it, but you don't really need a lot....the adhesive is rock solid and the method of the material fastening together means that there is next to no chance of whatever it's been used for coming apart

I was looking for sticky Velcro when this came up instead. I needed to hold something in my car, but also be able to take it out when necessary. I thought sticky Velcro was the answer. I was wrong!This stuff is simply amazing. The adhesive back is very sticky and will stick solid to the plastics in my car, when even no-more-nails sticky pads wouldn't hold.The mating mechanism is strong too. This product literally clicks into place and is then held firmly. Even in the bumpy environment of the car the sign this is holding has never moved.There are no downsides I can find with this. It's clearly been thought through very carefully.

As per other reviews, the picture gives you the impression you're getting both sides, but you end up with just one. It still works and bonds great, just £10.99 for 50cm of coverage is a bit on the steep side. Plus you can see it's been cut from a larger roll as the ends are wonky as and it came in a plaggy bag.Its a great product, just not sure its worth it when you can get at least twice as much velcro if not more for the price
