Got this for my wife as a Birthday present, it is beautiful, well worth the money she is very pleased with it, only complaint would be a index card or something listing the gems used and why they were used for that particular country.

More impressive in front of you. Craftsmanship is excellent. Will bring a showpiece to any room.

The ad states the globe was made in the US. To return the globe (printing of the continents and countries is almost unreadable) I have to pay shipping costs to China. I am Very Unsatisfied and surprised that Amazon would allow this to occur.Update: Seller was contacted and arranged for shipment back to the US with full refund.

This globe is beautiful. A piece of art.I do agree with some of the other reviews, the countries and states should all be labeled, and the correct shapes. The less expensive paper globes can get this done.In my opinion this flaw does not take away from the beauty of the globes.I also bought the turquoise ocean one. The gemstones have a halo glow about them; like high quality cabochons.I plan to collect them.Thank You.

Incredibly cheap material! Frame not welded properly, cheap metal, the legs not welded straight, compass is uneven, welded at an angle, unstable legs bent compass stains rust-tarnish marks over metal frame.
