Missing 7 Deckorators 74815 Baluster connectors
The package (of 20) was opened and 7 connectors were missing (photo attached). The product description does not tell us how many connectors you get. When I called the product support contact number that Amazon provides, it was not the company that manufactured these Baluster connectors.Material listed is "Plastic" without any other description so I ordered this small sample pack to find out, hoping they were at least ABS plastic. They are not hard Nylon or ABS so I wonder if the UV light will destroy them on a hot deck since the base of the Baluster connector is exposed to the sun. Only time would tell since we are not told what type of plastic these are made of.These seem to be made of common recycled polyethylene plastic like a disposable plastic fork (the kind that has a very low melting point) and I wonder how these would hold up to public foot traffic, especially after a few years in the direct sun. Again, the base is exposed to the light. I poked one with a hot wire. It melted fast and it had the odor just like run of the mill polyethylene, the kind that UV light destroys.Amazon made good on my order but I think these may be too light duty around normal human foot traffic.I wish someone would make these out of stainless steel for serious deck builders.

Base design good but ribbing too frail. Installation instructions overly simplified and there is a lack of alignment tools.
These are designed to be used with short (four feet, more or less) lengths of railing. Anything significantly longer and getting the balusters and the top railing with connectors to line up becomes unwieldy for two people, impossible for one person. The connectors are one-and-done. Whether installed dry or with silicone, they won't snap back into place if removed (or fall off). The ribbing on the connector is mangled during the initial connection. What Deckorators needs to come out with is a sectional clamping system to keep the balusters in place while aligning with the connectors.

Key to easy stair-rail baluster install
Work as advertised. Installation is straightforward but a bit “fiddley. “ They work well but are a bit over-priced for what they are. But the system makes a great deck stair railing.

Not prime.
Good product that I found to be a good fastening device. Slick. I had to reorder a bag that never showed up on delivery and the reorder set me back on the project.....but I guess that happens. Never seen it with a Prime item which this wasn’t.

Balusters are loose
Junk. They are to small for the baluster. So now the balusters rattle around because they are not the correct size. If they were made correctly they would be great because installation is quick
