Needs work
They're too loose and the bits keep falling out.

Buyer Beware - Cheap 3D Printed, not molded.
Unlike the image in the listing which shows a more smoothed out piece, which is either a picture of an actual DeWalt branded bit holder or a computer generated image, these are not what you are getting. You are getting a cheaply made 3D printed product which is very brittle and does not hold the bits snugly at all.In fact, just turning the case over once, 6 of the 15 bits I just placed into it fell out of the holder and are now loose in the case. These are absolutely a waste of money and I will be looking for name brand items next. Just because you own a 3D printer does not mean you should "manufacture" and sell inferior products and that is what has happened here.

Hard plastic, not soft
It's important to note these are NOT a soft plastic, but a very hard plastic. So they hold most bits, but sometimes the bits slip out because they are so smooth. And sometimes the bits don't fit perfectly and you can only use 8 of the 9 holes, because they will start to bend the dividers. They do fit in a Dewalt Tough Case, but you should probably use OEM holders.

Worth it!!
This guy 3D printing these saved me. You can’t find/buy these inserts anywhere unless you’re buying more bits. They fit my DEWALT cases perfectly and they work great and hold all this bits I have. Even my spade bits.Couldn’t ask for more! Not sure what the other negative reviews are talking about. It looks 3D printed… because it is.. soooo what!?It doesn’t fit your bits and/or case.. because you flunked out of geometry. It’s cheaper… because 3D printing is more affordable.

WARNING: Pictures COMPUTER GENERATED! Not actual item!
WARNING: Pictures COMPUTER GENERATED! Not actual item! The actual bit holders are 3D Printed and don't fit DeWalt Cases easily! As you can see in the images for this listing the surfaces are smooth and in my pictures you can see the surfaces are bumpy, which makes it difficult to push them into the DeWalt cases. If you look at my first image, at the top of the image, you can see the end of these bit holders. When you look closely at it you can see that one end of the dove tail is narrower than the other end. These are cheaply made. They are not worth the $12.95 that they charged me for them. Also, they will break easily because of the type of plastic used in 3D printers. As bits are pushed in and pulled out of these bit holders the dividers between the bits will break.

As describe, but not flexible like the part it is modeled from.
Original part was a flexible plastic. It gripped the bits to keep them in place. This item is made on a 3-D printer from a hard plastic. The bits fit, but they are not retained well. If the container were moved or dropped, the bits will slide out of this organizer.

They do what their designed to do
As the seller name states " layer3d " which would imply that it's a 3D printed product. It holds bits snuggly enough and it slides into the grooves perfectly. This is the best option to add more bars to the empty DeWalt cases to hold even more bits. I would buy again if i had the need for more of them.

They Work
Like already noted these are 3D printed. They do work well, however. Durability is TBD. As already stated, they seem to work fine for me (drill bits and drivers) and it's better than having all the bits / drivers floating around loose in the case. Easy to remove and insert at another location in the case with a small flat head screwdriver. It's a real shame that Dewalt hasn't produced these in their Gold/Yellow color, they are missing the market.
