This hamper looks nice in our bathroom. Does not look cheap like some hampers. Still, wish there was an alternative to plastic that was affordable. That said, we are very happy with the quality.

Recommend a wider style also

It's just as they say. It's large, vented for your laundry, any has a lid. Very happy with purchase!

This is very sturdy and attractive, in my opinion. We are using it as a shoe basket by the door to keep our puppy from chewing our shoes. Love that the air circulates so shoes (or clothing) don't stay damp.

Very pretty with nice nutral colors & design. Very lightweight-doesn't seem too sturdy. But so far so good. No problems. Holds laundry well. Will up-date if it does'nt last.

I bought this hamper for my kids' bathroom in the hopes that it would eliminate the constant piles of wet towels and dirty laundry. I've tried using laundry baskets, but by laundry day the basket would be overflowing onto the floor. I've also tried wicker hampers, but they absorb liquid and eventually disintegrated. This hamper keeps their dirty laundry neatly confined, and the airy structure helps prevent funk between washes. The pattern is also very attractive, especially when loaded, and the neutral colors match their bathroom decor.The hamper is made of lightweight plastic resin and is quite sturdy. Even fully loaded with a week's worth of damp towels, it is easy to maneuver to and from the laundry room. The lid attaches easily to the top by a hinge, and opens for adding laundry or emptying. Because it is made of plastic, it doesn't absorb liquid and odor like a wicker basket, and its much easier to clean. Note that the product description lists the outside dimensions of the hamper. The inside dimensions are 24" tall, 17.25" wide, and 13.25" deep. Overall, I'm very pleased with this hamper, and I'm very glad I bought it. Completely worth the price.

The photo at left shows some natural fiber hampers I've been using for years. They stood up well except that after a few too many times of using the hampers to carry damp clothing, the liners got rust marks from the metal supporting the baskets underneath the liner. They also took up too much space in my small closet, so while I never thought I would be replacing a natural fiber hamper with plastic, I'm very happy with my purchase. Making the lid a different color adds to its appearance, I think, and I also like the cutout design better than other hampers I looked at. More importantly, they fit in the closet underneath a small shelf (see photo on right) much better, without taking up more space.
