I have been happy with staindevils line of products. I have used them for years. Work required I wear white shirts. Staindevil saved many shirts.

Did not work for me

I first became aware of Carbona Stain Devils 30 years ago when we were living in Germany, and have been totally satisfied with how it works, and will never use anything else. Our grocery store usually carries a good selection of the individually formulated Carbona Stain Devil spot removers, but they were out of the formula for Ketchup (good for all tomato based stains), so rather than take a chance on a "multi-purpose spot remover, I ordered it online. Carbona has a different uniquely formulated remover for just about every kind of stain. grease, tomato based products, make up, milk, blood, grass stains, coffee and tea, ink stains, etc. Over the years, I have used virtually all of the specific Carbona spot removers, and each one works exceptionally well at completely eliminating the stain with no harm to the fabric. Once the spot remover has dried (and the stain is gone), there are no tell-tale rings on the fabric, or chemical odor, .I have been able to wear the clothing item immediately after applying the spot remover. I would recommend you have several (better yet..ALL of the) different spot removers on hand at all times, but the ones I find I need the most are the ketchup, oil/grease, and make-up formulas. The cost of each of the Stain Devils is WELL worth it when you have been able to save your favorite dress, sweater, shirt or blouse. I have used the Carbona Stain Devils on some old stains with mostly good results...but I would encourage everyone to get in the habit of inspecting their clothes when they are removed, and if there are any stains...let Carbona do its magic!
