Doesn't deserve the hatred
I am the author of the book "Common Sense & Multibaggers" & I always considered Pranjal as a contemporary or you know, more of an adversary. When I saw, the top reviews on Amazon, most have given a one star review to this book which deep down made me happy.I guess, am a bit sadist.Anyhow, I decided to pick this up to see how (badly) it was written.I skimmed through the Kindle edition in an hour as being experienced myself knew most which was given herein. However, the kind of research & backing he has given is impressive. The small diagrams & tables which simplify complex stuff, the vast collection from valuation to cognitive biases...it is a great deal in this small package.I must admit that this is first book you must pickup if you are an Indian & are just beginning to invest in the market.Maybe, the people who gave one star expected obvious stock recommendations or probably already knew what is herein. So, I would suggest that if you are a beginner & are new to the financial world then this is a great investment.Others, who probably have read people like Peter Lynch or Robert kiyosaki or Warren Buffett can avoid. The author of this book has developed his own courses & has developed various platforms for investors so he definitely has a better experience & credibility than us; moreover, I like the honesty & simplicity at which he writes; definitely worthwhile if you want all great teachings of market compiled in a single book. However, experienced or well read peeps can avoid!***Also, one more thing! The chapter "Fallacian trap" which author claims to be a self proposed theory is actually a copy or so to say inspired from the "Baltimore broker's scam" which is made famous by the well known mentalist & magician 'Derren Brown" & is also published in a 2014 book called "How not to be wrong: The power of mathematical thinking"

A good guide for Beginners
If you have not read any books on investment earlier, you should go for it. Many people immediately pick up Benjamin Grahim's book or books with a lot of information in technical language, but this book is simple and written for an Indian audience. I got this book today and completed it in one go. This is the level of simplicity and engagement this book offers. I bought this book for 155; it's like Pranjal sitting with me and teaching me the basics of the capital market for 2-3 hours. It was an amazing experience overall. I hope to read more books by Pranjal for Advance investors in the future. Thanks, Pranjal:)
