WON'T BE BUYING THIS AGAIN
I usually purchase my egyptian musk downtown brooklyn from the african 5 for $20 (same size). Call me lazy, but I couldn't be bothered with traveling and then looking for parking. So I decided to give this a go (glad I only purchased 1). Anyway, when 1st putting this on yes it smelled like egyptian musk, but guess what it doesn't last. I mean I don't smell it at all not even a hint of it. The one I get from downtown lasts for a long time throughout the day, even into the next day. The scent will remain in my clothes even after washing it, on my pillow cases. Thats the real deal to me.I don't like having to reapply anything throughout the day from perfume to deodorant, which I have to do with this. Any egyptian musk that doesn't last and/or doesn't smell like egyptian musk is formulaTED wrong. No I will not recommend this to anyone. Oh yeah the reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1 is because it did smell like egyptian musk.*updated info*This is like day 4 of me using it, and i took 1 star off because now it doesn't even smell like egyptian musk.I dont even know what kind of smell to describe the little scent I smell. Maybe its the civet used in it (which I don't care for). Pay no mind to their (marketing tool) description where it says imported from Egypt or whatever it said whether its true or not, my egyptian musk I usually buy has been the best and I guess real scented one. Wont complain about wasting $5 bucks but I am here to save people (maybe, maybe not) from saving their money. This is not egyptian musk. This is mainly oil and a little bit of civet. I think IM gonna toss my in the garbage

When I first met my fiance he was wearing this Egyptian Musk oil. It's light scented, but smells amazing. A little goes a long way. I wear it sometimes also, but I love it on him. This is a must have for my guy. Lol..Ladies this is inexpensive and I definitely recommend this. For your man or even forself.

Smells amazing don’t love applicator
Smells like traditional Egyptian musk I’m use to. Been looking for something like this. However, the roller is not that great. Hard to get product out that’s why I gave it 4 stars

GREAT MUSK!
I am a repeat customer with Natural Cosmetic.Have ordered this E Musk (Civet Blend) several and just ordered 2 more roll ons.You can't beat the price or great customer service from the seller. The fact that it says 'pure' or 'civet' is relative.I just love the product.Trust me, if there WERE civet in it..you'd know it..as real civet smells like cat spray. This product is simple, affordable, lasts relatively well and I've added to my favorite E Musks.Body Time in California sells E Musk for $36 an oz, Attar Bazaar is more expensive and the price goes up.I recommend THIS musk based on its merit and worth. You might give it a try!The only other E Musk Body OIL I recommend is from Claudia's Incense who bought out Smoking Joes...which is still being sold as Smoking Joes but really is NOT.Claudia's Incense Egyptian Musk BODY OIL is only $20 for 1 oz with $4 shipping. You will have to 'Google' Smoking Joes.Bottom line....it smells like 1970s E Musk. Their body FRAGRANCE is lighter.I will stick with Natural Cosmetic along with the Claudia's Incense. Both are the best bang for your buck.

Nope. If you are looking for vintage 60's civet or musk, this is NOT it.
This review is for Pure Egyptian Musk Oil (Civet Blend) Imported From Egypt 1/3oz. 10ml by utopia africa purchased from the vendor Utopia Land. This is the scent that when you get a hug from someone wearing it, you just can't wait to run home and scrub it off. And it won't come off till your skin flakes it off. It's loud, overbearing and gives me a headache. It is a far cry from the soft clean musk/civet scent from the 60's and 70's. I don't even know why they call this musk. I can tell you that everytime I try any inexpensive bottle of "Egyptian musk" oil, it smells like this. I think they should rename it "overbearing cheap aftershave". It smells like a person would wear it to cover up something quite unsavory. People who wear this and don't realize how bad it smells need to ask their close friends for the truth.I have smelled a high end fragrance that was described as an Egyptian musk, and I can see how someone trying to make a knockoff of it could have chosen cheap ingredients that make it smell like this oil. It does not warm down to anything pleasant even if you use a tiny drop of it. Maybe it is pleasant to some people but I just cannot fathom who. When a person wears any fragrance, they become immune to it on themselves, so they put more on. This is the wrong scent to do that with. Your scent should not enter a room before you do, and should not unpack and move in after you have left. That's what this scent does.I will give it one more try just to make sure because I feel bad for the vendor. Everyone's nose is different.I am sorry this review is so mean, it's just that if you are looking for a musk/Civet Blend like the ones from the 60's and 70's - this ain't it by a far cry. If you are looking for that overbearing masculine Egyptian musk oil you can buy in convenience stores, gas stations or flea markets, then here it is.Read my other reviews to find something that smells more like civet/musk. I consider myself an expert on this since I have been searching for this scent for years now and have spent the bucks on the genuine original vintage civet oil and musk oil. And to think that Macy's had baskets and baskets of this stuff lying around on their fragrance counters in the 60's. At five bucks a bottle!!I gave the 2 star rating because maybe others like this, I just do not.I gave 5 stars on longevity because it just won't quit even after scrubbing it off. DO NOT GET IT ON YOUR CLOTHES!And i gave it 5 stars for value for the money - I guess you get plenty of a nose-full for the price whether you like it or not!!!Yes, I am an expert on this scent. And this Egyptian musk oil civet blend is anything but musk/civet smelling! Take your chances but don't say I didn't warn you! Hopefully this review will encourage a change in the formula or a change in the offerings to something much more civet/musk - or at least a name and description change that do not mention civet or musk at all. It is deceiving - whether or not it has musk/civet in it - it sure smells like it doesn't have a drop! One more thing to note - the bottle had nothing printed on it. I believe it is a decant from a much larger bulk bottle. My advise the the vendor is to just stop selling it. It has low ratings.
