Sniper Ghost Worrior is worth buying
open world game, free roaming bullet game no x-ray , once you play the prologue. This picks up awesome game, drone takes a little used to but after the prologue it's and open world game outpost searching artifacts. My psn name is dragon715.I have a community on the ps4 please look me up.I love the free play and open world. Yes it does have bullet can. And this game has a upgrade work bench in the safe house. Buy upgrades. I know others gave this a bad name but trust me if you are a true fan of the sniper ghost worrior you'll like this one.

B-movie levels of action and quality
I have a very soft spot for B-movies. I'm also a fan of precision shooting in general. Those two reasons above give me some crazy bias towards this game, so take this review with a grain of salt.Sniper: Ghost Warrior has been around for a while now as a solid choice for people looking for a realistic sniping experience. The first game in the series came out in 2011 with a sequel being released in 2013. These games have a certain reputation in gaming circles. They're not the best games, in fact being pretty mediocre most of the time. However, they're budget titles that do one particular thing very well (the sniping mechanics), with everything else being satisfactory or outright sub par. That being said, these games have found an audience because the sniping mechanics are unrivaled (except for maybe Sniper Elite), and they're charming in the way a low budget action movie can be. It's hokey, cheesy, and sometimes dumb, but there's no denying the fun factor.Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 expands upon the premise of the first two titles by introducing an open-world format that mimics Far Cry to a tee. The setting is rather under explored in gaming, so that's a solid addition to the plus column. The game takes place in the Eastern European country of Georgia, and the world is all dense forests with foreboding mountains, and some snowy areas. In this area, the graphics do leave a bit to be desired. If you're looking for extremely detailed textures, and polished visuals, look elsewhere. The game often looks a bit muddy, and if you get to close to the vegetation you'll notice how cheap some of the animations look. That being said, there are moments when the game looks like a proper AAA big-budget action game.Just like Far Cry, you travel around the different regions via vehicles or fast travel points. All in all the map is easy to navigate and the numerous "Points of Interests" that are scattered throughout the map all offer unique mini-moments where you're investigating a crashed car, or saving civilian hostages, and other similar activities.Perhaps my favorite mechanic aside from the Sniping is the ability to use a remote-controlled drone to investigate the surrounding areas before executing a plan. This mechanic is similar to using the tamed Hawk in Far Cry Primal, but controlling the drone is much more precise than controlling the hawk. The drone can also be modified with an number of abilities (passive and active) that enhance it's battery life, or enables a night vision mode, or allow you to make a noise to lure enemies, etc. Using the drone to scout ahead for enemies or vantage points is a fun and engaging experience that enhances the game play in a tangible manner. As a final positive subject, the weapons that are available for purchase are pretty great. There is about 15 sniper rifles available, about 10-12 assault rifles/shotguns/bows, and about 10-12 pistols. Each weapon has different attachments, and so far I've been impressed with the variety available. As a gamer with a full-time job, I don't really care too much about the quality of the story anymore. While there are certain games that I purchase specifically for the story, I purchased Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 because I like sniping. However, to my surprise, the story has been entertaining so far. Hokey, predictable, and kind of simplistic, but still entertaining enough for me to want to listen to briefings and pay attention during cut scenes. The basics are this: you're a kick-ass american military operative (marine, I think) who's searching for his lost brother (also a soldier), while fighting alongside a rebel force. Interesting enough. The biggest con for this game are going to be the loading times. Every time you start a new game, or switch to a new region the game will initiate a 5-minute load time. It's annoying, but at least once you're loaded in there are virtually no load times.Other than that, the game just feels like it could have benefited from some more development time. The fact that you can only purchase the game with the season pass attached is a bit of a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it's great to be able to count on more content for the game throughout 2017. On the other hand, there is no multiplayer available yet, and it feels like you're paying full price for a half-done game with the promise of the rest of the game coming out throughout the year.So who's this game for? Do you like Jean-Claude Van Damme movies? Were you aware that there is a series of 6 movies called Sniper with 5 of them being direct-to-dvd releases? Do you perchance own those movies? Then give this game a chance. It's not ground-breaking, it's not life-changing, nor is it a masterpiece. This is a fun, budget title that will appeal to a certain audience.

Disappointing for many reasons
I start off rating FPS games with the expectation that for $30-50 you are getting a 5 star game. Few games retain that rating, but MOST fare MUCH better than Sniper 3: Ghost Warrior.NOTE: I do NOT play online because I DESPISE CHEATERS. You're not BETTER THAN ME if you use bots; you're a fricking CHEATER. And 98% of online players ARE cheaters. So I'm out. Thus I rate games for their one-player campaigns value. This is a BEAUTIFULLY-rendered, cinematic-quality (mostly) visual and audio experience. It has hands-down THE BEST game theme I've ever heard, even if IS in Baltic Georgian. The lady's voice is sensual and the melody is haunting. The sound quality is stunning. As to playing the game, the sniping is as realistic as anyone who plays FPS games needs; any more realism in aiming and shooting, and it would be too hard to play. It's just right in that regard. The 'worlds' are large, diverse, and BEAUTIFULLY rendered, complete with wildlife and realistically rendered non-combatans, and the worlds feature PLENTY of room between boundaries in campaign mode, and very few 'fatal funnels.' The 'extreme navigation' is just like it really would be: challenging, but doable—there is always a way, and usually many more than just 1 approach to target per attack strategy. It can take quite a while to get into position for the attack, but that is true to life. Like with all other mission-oriented FPS campaigns, there are often things you cannot do out of the planned order to have mission success. Regrettable, because in real combat the first casualty is always the attack plan, but most games are like that, so no points off for that.GETTING shot is realistic enough, too; take a single incoming sniper round and you're dead. That's okay by me. In COD games, you can get hammered for several seconds before player death, which is totally UNrealistic. Ease of player death doesn't bother me. Rating this game solely as an FPS game for gameplay alone, I'd give it 3 stars. Gameplay WOULD be worth 4 stars if it were not absolutely ALWAYS jerky in player and optics motion, despite my doing every update possible and closing and restarting the game several times. I have a PS4-Pro 1TB console; this game SHOULD just FLY. But with the incurable jerkiness, there is no sweeping an area with the player or through weapons optics; this completely kills total immersion in the game. I get angry rather than excited. There is no suspension of disbelief. It should be easier and quicker to select and use 'gadgets;' it should have binoculars and night vision for the player instead of just the drone and weapons optics for long range eyes-on recon; and no matter the range, the enemy never misses with smaller, real-life shorter-ranged weapons, nor do they ever run out of ammo, but you miss with every weapon in your kit, and you do run out of ammo. These 5 things are all I'd change in actual gameplay. I don't expect a quarter-per-play arcade experience, but COME ON!It is very easy to die, but so it is in actual war (I'm a 60yo vet, and THAT level of realism is okay with me).BUT.... once you DO die, that's where the game goes from potentially 3 stars to 2.So why DID I give it just 1 star? The game takes FOREVER to load, whether it's for new missions (-1 star) or re-morphing after dying (-1 more star). Dying easily is no big deal in and of itself, but the game ALSO takes FOREVER to allow that you have reached the 'next checkpoint.' You almost always have to start the entire mission over from the morphing in point. It saves data frequently, but for what purpose? Apparently only to record your ammo and suppressor states, and it allows you virtually NO progress except total mission completion, and you are not rewarded with a decent re-morph point in any mission. When you FINALLY re-morph, ALL enemies re-morph no matter how many of them you zipped up before YOU died, but your weapons' states are re-morphed exactly as when you died...suppressors and ammo are as depleted as in the last moment before player death.SO...5 stars initially out of the box-1 star for mission loading like glaciers moving-1 star for re-morphing like molasses-1 star for jerkiness (not player walking, that's ok)-1 star for absurdly slow next-checkpointingNet rating: 1 starIf the beand-new game were $10, I'd still only give it 3 stars, and maybe 2. Just too many fundamental flaws not shared by competitive offerings to rate it any higher.A real SHAME, because this IS one of the most beautifully-crafted games I've ever played but it's just too much of a frustrating struggle to charge $30 for, regardless of release date.I rate it a pass for value and overall gameplay, but if you're bored and don't mind waiting forever for anything significant to happen, it's a decent diversion.

Free roam...do it your way...love it
I love all COD and Battlefield games and play them every time they are released but the one thing that stands out to me with Sniper 3 is you got to be stealth and take your time to plan out your strategy...like COD or Battlefield when you’re just running through and shooting everything up. Only bad thing is when you start the games it takes so long to load.
