its lovely. I usually have to crack a window but this burns so clean. Only issue is it burns kind of quick but its not a problem. It smells very fresh, a little floral and perfumey. I would buy it in bulk and always have my home smell like this.

If you're looking for an incense that really smells like matcha powder / fresh green tea, this isn't going to be it. With that being said, it's a sweet (like a floral sweet, not a gourmand sweet), clean smell that's light and doesn't linger. For those who aren't huge incense fans (for example, they think it's too smokey), this would be a good intro for them. The smoke is light, and the smell is enough to "clear" the air without being overwhelming.

Love these incense! Thrilled to get these through Amazon and not have to go to specialty store and paying double the cost!!

I bought these on a whim after running out of some cheap incense I bought at 2nd and Charles. These incense sticks smell very nice. It smells fresh and light, but it is very perfume-like. These sticks are very small, only about six inches long. They burn somewhat quickly, at least compared to other incense I’ve tried. The box of incense comes with a little holder tile, which is nice. There’s very little smokiness, and the ashes burn white, which I thought was interesting. My only gripe is that I wish the scent lingered more. I think I get a longer lasting scent out of the cheap stuff than this incense.

This is my first try with the Kayuragi line and I love this scent! It is mostly fresh, but also slightly sweet and slightly woody. Both energizing and relaxing, if that makes sense. Can't wait to try more!

The smokiness of the green tea comes forth in the best of ways in this masterpiece from Yakuragi line at Nippon Kodo.There is an after smell. I suggest this fine incense quite often for friends quitting smoking because it satisfies a certain aroma. The cool thing with Green Tea is that as we know from brewing special green teas so we are able to burn one of the fruit wood joss sticks at the same time like wisteria or peace, or aloes wood the best of all.

Doesn't really have a scent at all...you are aware of something burning, just not sure if it's incense or tissues, or something outside.Comes in a cool little box though.

This is THE incense stick to get for that authentic Japanese aroma. Reminds me of the mountain top tea room in Hakone JPN where we sipped green tea. I'm right back there in the mountains.
