I'm well pleased. It allowed me to feel more comfortable while having an upper respiratory infection. With feeling like I wasn't getting enough oxygen it allowed me to not be as anxious. If you have acrylic nails, heavy nail polish or very long nails it may not work as well. I had no problems with having 95% or better blood oxygen but didn't know this until reading the accompanying material.

I purchased this because I had been sick for a while and started having trouble breathing. I thought it was just me being paranoid.. but sure enough, I had readings between 88 and 94 for O2 sat. I contacted my doctor and she told me to go to the hospital. I thought maybe it was just a faulty meter and had my husband and roommate test theirs. They were both over 95. I was being stubborn and waited til the next morning. When my O2 sat dropped to 80 we called 911. Had I not gone to the hospital that morning, I would have died. I could not be more thankful for this little device. It definitely saved me!

Good product- but these things are all a pain in the rear end to use— you have to wiggle it around and make sure you’re not getting spurious readings. This was verified by my neurologist the other day— and she told me to take a reading on my ear instead of a finger— but she didn’t tell me how to read it on my ear!I got this after a couple days in a hospital room when my oxygen saturation was down in the 60’s,,,,, maybe.

Been great to help track my O2 levels for dr and home nurses. They have me date and activity so they can see levels when they're not here. It's a great thing to have if you need to know your intake.

MY wife and I have tested this oximeter(compared with the visiting nurses oximeter) . It is less than 1 % difference fromthe medical professionals devices.

It is a nice to have at home instead of waiting to see the doctor! You can pick up on abnormalities beforehand.
