Scholastic Success with Reading Comprehension Grade 2 Workbook

Upon reviewing this I’m very pleased with what I’ve seen.. my granddaughter is so excited will be ordering books as well for the summer to keep her focused on her reading and understanding of what she’s reading m.

This was a gift for someone but it seems like it has helped them out a lot.

These books are perfect and very helpful for my child. Value the money and if you need something to help your child in school this book is it.

Book is great. Pages are 2 sided so many reading lessions. The book is perforated which is great. Comprehension is spot on for 2nd grade. Reading sections are an accurate size. My daughter likes reading the stories and doing the activity that goes along.

I used for my granddaughter whose decoding is strong but her working memory is weak. She reads words beautifully but completely forgets what she just read by the end of the paragraph. Using tips and lesson plans I found online that correspond to the lessons, I was able to help her with comprehension skills.

Helpful

Good for ASD lv 1 kiddo without accompanying intellectual impairment. I worried about his reading comprehension. compared to the amount of reading his does, his understanding is falling behind, which is somewhat expected because reading is his big stim. I know this is not an ASD material but it’s good amount of helpful pictures and visuals. Stories are short enough. With a little guidance, he can figure it out, even the jokes. Much better than AI made ASD reading competition workbooks out there without spelling checks. If your kiddos ‘high function’ then you might want to consider. Plus very affordable price.

I love these little books! My son struggles with following directions and completing sentences. This book has helped him with describing words and following directions and putting things in order. I wish it was more! Like a larger book. Other than that, I recommend it, it's been so helpful.

Bought for my grade 1 who is above grade level and losing interest at school. It’s appropriate for Gr 2 and a good variety of activities.
