Had 2 of these in a new/used RV pantry that was unbelievably dark and hard to find things in. Found same item at Amazon and had to get them! This 3 pack works for other shelves with no light and I love them! Being in a closed cabinet, they only turn on when door opens, so battery life is long enough to be acceptable and I did not want those with USB charging myself, but others may like that option. The light strips are easy to place and the adhesive strip is strong. Magnetic attachment makes removal for battery changes easy yet is strong enough to survive bumping along the highways, potholes and all! Very nifty little lights and very bright, perfect for my use.

"I needed a lighting solution in a cupboard I transformed in to sliding pantry shelves, instead of shelves that were packed full of items I hadn't used in years and years. I bought the sliding shelves here on Amazon too but quickly realized I had no way of installing lighting since there is no access to an electrical outlet nor any way of running an electrical line to the cupboard. I searched Amazon for a solution and found these to be a very reasonable cost and easy to place exactly where I needed them. They also have the added function of turning on with motion as soon as I open the cupboard and shined so bright that I have no problem finding everything I need and better yet what I needed to purchase the next time I went shopping; I had gotten in the habit of giving up searching the other cupboards I had perviously used for that one I item I was sure I had and would just buy another and another and another until I couldn't fit more things in and then would have to empty it out and I would find I had three of the thing I was searching for and had just bought another. I'm saving trips to the grocery and buying items now only when I need them. The batteries last a long time too since they turn off quickly after no motion is detected, another cost savings, especially since I use rechargeable batteries too. I really like that they stay in place with magnets so they are easily removed for battery changes. I did have one that the motion sensor didn't work well and the seller sent me a replacement with no questions asked, without having to return the defective one and were very apologetic as soon as I contacted them. They are one of the best sellers I have had the pleasure of working with on Amazon.

There is NOTHING wrong with these lights. They do exactly as advertised, are bright, have good motion sensing, and are mounted with a peel-and-stick strip that is a magnet. The light sticks to the magnet. This neat design feature allows them to be removed when the AAA cells need replacing... ...but... Each of these lights use four AAA cells. The area where I placed them is a stairwell to a basement business storage area and is not accessed very often... only when we need some old files, to reset a circuit breaker. I could see into the future that the AAA cells would be leaking (and destroying the lights) long before the AAA cells were run down and needed to be replaced. So I returned these lights and bought the exact same light that is rechargeable by USB. This insures that the batteries never leak and the lights will last for many years. When one of the lights doesn't come on (because the internal battery is discharged) I will simply lift all of them off the mounting magnets and take them into the office, plug in the charger cables overnight and in the morning put them back in the stairwell.

I have ordered these lights twice now. They work great. I setup a small safe in a hall closet for our everyday needs and wanted the interior lighted. I did not want to drill holes in the safe to run power in so I thought I would give these OxyLED Motion lights a try. They work great. As soon as I open the safe door and start to reach in the sensor turns on the light. I have been wanting to also light up my Field and Stream 48 Gun Safe. It was not configured for electric and is fire and water rated so I wasn't going to drill holes in it either. I don't know why I didn't think to order these lights for it sooner. but I ordered the 3pk for it and Wow they really light up the safe. I got the bright white lights not the warm. I have one light mounted to the ceiling of the safe centered in the front, one mounted under the top shelf over the in the back over the long gun side, and the third mounted on the side wall about the middle of the shelves. When you open the door and start to reach in the top light and the long gun light trip almost right away, the side light will trip if you reach towards any of the shelves. For $15 I could not be more happy. These come with a detachable magnet mounted on the back, that is useless for safes with carpeted lining. I applied industrial strength velcro to the back of all three and it grips tight to the safe lining. they are very tough to pull off.

The light sticks were great out of the box. Nice bright lights and takes a standard battery. Two sticks are still going strong, but one of the stick's motion detection sensitivity seems to have diminished only after a little over 2 weeks! Not sure how the remaining sticks will fare. Batteries are new, so power supply should not be a factor. Monitoring the longevity of the product, but disappointed that one stick is not up to full performance. Just ordered rechargeable light sticks, and will wait to see which has better performance. Sent a message to the manufacturer, but no response. Might be returning this order. Update 12/31/18: Second light stick stays on for prolonged period of time, therefore draining the batteries quickly. The pluses are that these light sticks are really super bright, and great for safety lighting a dark staircase. The cons are that it doesn't seem to be reliable, both in duration and in maintaining sensitivity to motion. I hope the manufacturer will take note and improve the design and performance. UPDATE 12/31/18: Thousandshores contacted me this evening and forwarded my concerns to their technical team for improvement advice. They also sent replacement light sticks as well! Their customer service is definitely responsive and awesome! These things are so cool. Maybe I'm getting old, but undercounter cabinets can get pretty dark. Slap some batteries in these, mount them quick and easy with the included double faced tape and bam, you can see in that formerly dark hole. I forget how long the batteries last, a year or so with light use, no pun intended. They do have an odd failure mode, they fail by coming on and not shutting off. That's your hint to replace the batteries. I've had these, or a variation of them for years now. I like them, my wife loves them. I have had one product failure over several years and at least half a dozen installed. For the price I'm not worried about it.

I first bought these lights when the socket for the lightbulb in my refrigerator broke. It was gonna be a big hassle to get a replacement part for it so I started looking for options. I have this light stuck to the top of the fridge and it works as good as the old one is actually a little brighter. I open the door, and the light comes on. I close the door, and the light doesn’t go off right away, but it does go off In a minute or so. I decided that the spare upright freezer could use a light as well, and put one of them in there. Despite the cold, it’s working fine. I put the third one in the bathroom. I stuck it underneath the upper cabinet and now it’s the only light I use in the evening. I thought it would be good for the middle of the night when I wouldn’t want to turn on the big overhead light, but I find it puts out enough light to use any time at night. The batteries on that one have lasted three months now and the light is starting to look a little dim. So it might be getting close to time to replace those. Still, that light gets a decent amount of use and I am happy with the amount of time that it has lasted.

I purchased these because my home gets very dark once the lights are out; mainly by the front door, hallways and kitchen. I have light switches nearby but wanted something that allowed me to walk into and out of a dark room without having to fumble for them. These lights do the trick and I'm pleased so far. I just ordered some more and will place them outside my covered porch since some reviews have mentioned their good for outside use as long as they're not exposed to the elements. Deducted a star because my biggest gripe so far is what many others have already mentioned. Once mounted using the adhesive backing it comes with, it will destroy your drywall if you try to remove it. Therefore, you should consider it a PERMANENT fixture. I mounted it to the ceiling going into a bedroom but mistakenly attached it in crooked a position. Unfortunately I had to leave it there because peeling it off meant taking down the ceiling with it. You can avoid this by using command strips instead, or by placing it onto something metal since it has a very strong magnet on the back part where the batteries go. Overall it's a good product and way better than a plug-in nightlight for my needs. Each light requires 4 AAA batteries that aren't provided so that should be considered when factoring the cost compared to similar lights. But battery access is simple and the lights are super bright. They're almost as bright as some wired lights. When they're all on at once I honestly can't tell the difference. The sensor's range very is decent but it will be delayed if there's an obstruction. Make sure nothing is blocking the sensor and it will work fine. The lights comes on when I'm about 15 feet away and stays on for approximately 15 seconds. My pics reference the lights installed above my front entry door, on the ceiling in a dark hallway into a bedroom and in the kitchen.

This works like a charm. I have tested this under several conditions. Only 1 problem, that once the light is on it takes a while to turn off on its own. I mean if there is no movement for 20 seconds just turn off, but it'll stay on for like minutes. This is a problem if you don't have rechargeable batteries. The batteries will just die quickly and you'll have a bill on your hand.

Very impressed with these lights. I put them in a wardrobe and can easily see in a dark morning. They take 4 AAA batteries. I installed them 5 months ago and still have not replaced the batteries.

Great product, I wanted something for the stairs and these work great. Plus they have magnet which all me to take them off while cleaning the surface. Worth every rupee spent on it, just I thing I was surprised with is that it requires 4 AAA battery rather than standard 2 or 3 .

After purchasing this I had put the product in the utensil area which is very dark. The brightness is good but the batteries hardly last a week ( Duracell ultra). So I've purchased Duracell rechargeable batteries. Charge stays for a week and recharging it at nights once a week. This product is only for areas which are used once or twice a day. Overall a nice product but too expensive.
