Fantastic Korean representation in Sins of Our Elders
I alone give this 5 stars for the first official D&D Korean representation in a sourcebook since the 80's! Korean diapora writer Stephanie Yoon did a fantastic job with her research and incorporating traditional Korean elements into a fantasy setting! The fact that even the magistrates have those among them tasked with being 'spirit arbiters' is a historically correct element that is often forgotten: local leaders with authority were usually called on to lead annual rites even if they weren't spiritual leaders and would be followed up by a mudang/shaman who was the expert in the field. Fun references like dokkaebi and incredible artwork make this small section of the Radiant Citadel 100% worth purchasing. My only wish is that there was more Korean content like items, iconic creatures, etc. But I am extremely grateful that the book recommends placing the location of Yeonido in the parts of the Forgotten Realms and Sword Coast that 5e players are familiar with, and that it does not reference Kara-Tur in the slightest.

Great book for beginner players!
We have had so much fun following the adventures in Journey Through the Radient Citidel. My son often goes rogue on the story line, but the book is so well designed it makes it easy to bounce back. I highly recommend this book for young players.

Arrived damaged but it’s a book so.
Outside box wasn’t damaged but the back cover of the book was cracked and there were some serious scuffs on the book. It doesn’t impact the use of the book but it certainly didn’t arrive in new condition. Not returning it though, since the inside of the book is just fine.

A wonderful addition to the 5e library
This book is easily the best of the 5e “anthology” style adventures, with Candlekeep being a close second. The short adventures here are vibrant and full of interesting, fleshed out characters and settings. They are also incredibly easy to plug into your campaign, whether you are playing in Faerun, Tal’Dorei or your own homebrew setting. I am planning on working a few into my Spelljammer game. The artwork is gorgeous and it is wonderful to see so many cultures represented. Mad props to the authors of this work, and I hope we see more books like this in the future!

Great book
This is a gorgeous book showcasing cultures and stories we don’t get to see enough in ‘classic’ or ‘traditional’ fantasy which is so often heavily rooted in European experiences/history. Not only that it has some great new monsters, a fantastically cool new setting, helpful guidelines for running respectful games at your table, and some truly phenomenal art. Seriously. Some of the art is breathtaking.I hope wotc and dnd continue to let creators expand players minds of what fantasy can look like, what fantasy worlds we can play in work like, and who its heroes are. Products like this are so cool to see!

Very fun, some really cool monsters, fresh
I also purchased an Alt Cover so I gave away my copy of this version after a few weeks, but not before reading through it in its entirety. This book provides an anthology of really unique and short, fun adventures that’ll be interesting for new and old players, each with its own setting. I’d love more details on the settings themselves—or more adventures set in the Radiant Citadel itself—but I find this book more than worth the money, and would’ve loved it even if the ONLY thing I liked was the Radiant Citadel. Highly recommend.

Planescape Wannabe

Beautiful and vibrant
A beautiful book full of vibrant characters and locations, and lots of suggestions for how to mindfully bring these settings to life without appropriating the cultures the book draws from. Can't wait to dig in with my table!
