The material is absorbent but extraordinarily thin. The patterns are cute for the grandkids, not so much for the adults.

Didn't buy to use for a towel. But seems a little light in fiber to be a great absorbency towel. But for patio chair covers they are perfect.

I bought these towels for the small group of youths that come over swimming. I got sick of washing my bath towels. These are great! They are lightweight, fold up nicely for travel and dry quickly with no odor.When you first get them wash them. Do NOT use fabric softener. I used my normal detergent and used vinegar instead in my rinse cycle. This strips the cloth of any residue and softens them as well, without compromising their absorption.All in all I would recommend, separate towels at Costco would cost more. They have nice designs too. It is also easier to assign towels to a group. My younger son has the sea turtle towel while my eldest has claimed ownership of the lobster. Various friends have claimed the flamingo, pineapple, shark and palm tree as “their” swim towel. Great price for a handy set of towels.

I ordered these towels as a last-minute decision. We had company arriving and I needed more beach towels. Read the reviews and went with my gut to purchase. Very happy I did. These towels are so colorful and beautiful. They may not be heavy and super absorbant yet they are perfect for the beach. I have already put them thru the wash and like any towel yes they shed but nothing crazy! You won't regret it. Also the design on each towel is beautiful. Thank you for the "Turtle" towel..I love turtles :)

These towels are awesome to lay on at the beach, and are great for drying off after a swim. They are soft and don't attract sand like normal beach towels. The only issue I have with these is the fraying after a single wash cycle. I've only had these for a week and one of the towels is beginning to fray in the corner stitching, just after the first wash. I don't know how long it will hold up. I would easily give these 5 stars if it weren't for the stitching/fraying issues.

These towels are very fast drying and fold up nice and small. The only thing is they love to attract leave and it’s hard to get them off the towels but overall we absolutely love these towels and even bought a second pack!
