Truly plug and play. This camera came in handy because my Dell's integrated webcam is/was not functional of which I made sure the settings were correct, did some troubleshooting and nothing fixed the problem. So, I bought this Spedal cam right away because I had some important can't-miss business related zooms coming up. This camera has great clarity and a nice sleek design. If you're looking for something like this, I highly recommend this product. No software needed, but there is an option to download software to utilize additional features.

120deg view webcam is great for meetings of 6-12 people. Easy to hook up, good microphones. The built-in adjustable ledge enable me to put it right on top of a large TV. I use a USB extension reach to my laptop so I can be in the FOV along with the rest of the group.

I've been on a mision to find "alternative" external webcams for company use and with everything being out of stock/ on back order/ super inflated prices right now, we needed to seek alternatives. When using a device you may not know well, at a minimum you want it to work but also I had the requirement of no manual software install/driver/OEM software to load-- recuding uncertainty about "who made this software and what are their motives/is it clean?" This camera requires no manual software install. GOOD. This camera has good quality video, in general. This camera plugs in and goes. There are downsides and reasons that I am not going to recommend this model as our default alternative until I check out two others and here are those reasons: 1. The camera is manual focus. This is not a deal breaker, but definitely "behind". Some may argue this is better in some situations but I was surprised by it. 2. There is a little bit of lense halo if you have light hitting it from the wrong direction. Only espect this if your use area is parallel to a window. 3. With Google Meet, on Windows 10 latest version as of May 2020, Google Meet and Chrome latest version as of this review (81.0.4044.138) I cannot seem to "preview" the video or audio during Meet setup. I have to actually join a live meeting before Chrome can acess the microphone & camera for testing. This is odd, and if anyone knows why this is, or a workaround, please comment on my review-- I'd like to know. The error I get is "camera not on/ mic not on". 4. There is no included lens cover and the lens protrudes so this makes that a little more difficult no matter what. People who are video conferencing on and off throughout the day and not always joining with video really appreciate the lens cover. Does it work? Yes. Is the video quality good enough? Yes. Does it have some inconveniences? Yes. Depending on your need, scenario, ability to find others or willingness to spend, this certainly could be an adquate camera if you really need one.

The Spedal Live Camera worked right out of the box! I did not have to go through any lengthy instructions, just plugged it in and opened up whatever program uses the camera and selected the Live Camera USB. What I like most about it is the color quality. I have noticed the camera on my computer was very grainy and only got better with a lot of light. With the spedal camera the quality is instantly better. Another reason why I bought this add on camera was to raise the point of view from my laptop to the large screen I am using. Before to get the actual look right I had to look down at my laptop but now I can look straight ahead and people on the other side can see my eyes looking straight on. I am excited to try out my camera on more of my livestream broadcasts and webinars.

I liked that is was very easy to install all I had to do was plug it in to my xbox its works great with it I wish it was more stable on my tv the picture quality isn't bad at all the sound works good from both ends I'm able to talk from about 40ft away and still talk and hear clear I'm very happy with my purchase I would recommend to anyone looking for a plug in camera its literally that easy to install I do not know how it works with other devices I bought it for my xbox but I'm sure it would work the same

I honestly feel that listing for this camera is kind of deceptive in some of its claims. Specifically, the background replacement feature they list as a feature is provided by 3rd party software that can be downloaded for free and used with most any webcam; it is not a unique feature of the camera itself, not the result of any included software (there is none) that is specific to this camera. Even then, you have to pay for the premium version of that software if you want to remove the big developer watermark or unlock the full range of tools! The manual focus requires you to actually twist the lens like and old 35mm film camera, and its a pain trying to get the depth of focus exactly right (although they are upfront about this in the listing, its my fault I didn't read more carefully before buying). Picture quality is capable of decent clarity, but the generic UVC control software that Windows uses by default is kind of clunky to use and some of the adjustment controls are greyed out when using this camera. Bottom line, you'd be much, MUCH better off just shelling out a few bucks extra and getting a Logitech webcam, especially with the prices on many of their older (but still very capable) models falling significantly once the newer models featuring wifi/4K/etc rolled out. The modest dollar amount saved with this webcam just isn't worth it.

I’ve been looking for a face camera for a while now and some that I come across are always mixed between good and bad based on reviews and my research. Then I ran into this camera. I plug this thing into my console and computer and it’s a pretty good camera. I can see myself and hear myself pretty well plus the quality is really good. The price is reasonable for a camera like this. Even though this camera is limited based on what it’s compatible with I can deal with it just fine. Very nice camera, definitely worth getting.
