This item was received as specified, but it hasn't been very cold where I am at. The pouring spout is a little hard to use with my my oil tank, so I will have to come up with another way of pouring it into my oil tank. It looks ok but I think have to update this review when it gets much colder. Thanks for opportunity to leave my review.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a neighbor. I have been having issues with my diesel tractor just stalling for no apparent reason when snow blowing (winter months). I already use a number of fuel supplements whenever I have my outside tank filled, so I was not sure what was going on. I changed the tractor fuel filter and that seemed to help at the time, but then the problem came back. I tried adding a Diesel 911 type product directly to the tractor tank when filling to see if that would help and it stopped the problem cold. That is what I did throughout last winter and never had a problem. So I figured adding this product to my outdoor storage tank would likely solve my problems. So far this winter I have not experienced a singe stall, so it is working great for me. I think I will likely stop buying and adding the other products to my fuel, as this one seems to do all I need. I would definitely recommend it, as the price is very reasonable.

I use this because I have an above ground oil tank. New city slicker next door neighbor does too. I suggested to her that she use this product and last winter she did, no issues. This winter she did not and worse she put diesel in the tank when she let it get too low… and even though she got a full delivery it still gelled up when the temp went to 5 degrees and the furnace stopped overnight. Still not knowing what she had done I had her put a space heater in the room and as the inside and outside temp went up the furnace fired up. That’s when she told me about the diesel and not using the additive. So moral of the story is this product works.

I use this product in a 275 gallon fuel oil tank and have used it for several years. I did have a line freeze a couple of times when the temps were near zero but I have rectified that problem with a filter where I can drain accumulated water. I use this primarily to treat the fuel over the summer and it performs as advertised.
