I am loving this book so much. I haven't finished it yet, because, to absorb it, I have to read it in small doses. I read a little every morning. I feel like I was being prepared for this book all my life. I couldn't have appreciated it as much in my younger days. So many things about the Bible and Jesus that never resonated as truth with me, now make sense. They didn't resonate as truth because they weren't accurately translated! This book is a game-changer. I'll never speak Aramaic and am so grateful to this author for the gift of this book.

Neil Douglas-Klotz is not only a scholar who enlarges our understanding of Jesus' teaching through his work with Aramaic and Semitic language roots, but his suggested practices draw us into Yeshua's invitation to connect our lives with the source of all life. If you've read his other works you'll want to read this, and vice versa.

There's no doubt that this is Neil Douglas Klotz's masterpiece! I was first introduced to his work by Matthew Fox at a conference in Houston many years ago. Since then I have purchased every book he has written related to the Aramaic Jesus. This seems to be the culmination of all of his previous work. I can't recommend this book enough. Read it, meditate and contemplate on it, and let it guide you to a deeper experience of the Christ.

Neil Douglas-Klotz is truly inspiring in the deep understanding of the Aramaic language that he puts into "Revelations Of The Aramaic Jesus". He has studied this language for years and provides the beginning student and/or the well educated theological person with insight that is beyond what I ever expected. This book is brilliant, and even if you’ve got any of Neil’s previous books, this is a must-read. It explores Jesus’ teachings more deeply and widely than any of his previous books, and relates them profoundly to our current times. The book weaves together a lot of authoritative detail, such as expanded explanations of the sound-meanings of key words, and the turbulent social/political context Jesus lived in, to give us a vivid and coherent picture of what Jesus was really teaching, and how we can draw from it. This is helped by a series of short Contemplations, which can help us to embody and apply key teachings.
