Perfect set for home use!
Bought this kit to replace a single dental tool I have used for many years. I picked this kit for the particular shapes that came with it. I took close-ups of the ends for you. I felt this pack had just the right mix, without over doing it, and no duplicates, like some of the other sets on Amazon.I find these particularly handy for cleaning around the backs of my wisdom teeth, as no toothbrush can fit back there and do the job well.I like the variety of this pack, and the handy mirror too. I may start trying my hand at removing tarter now :)The washable, plastic case it comes in is a nice, safe way to store them & carry them around. They are a nice weight, with good grips.I will update this review down the road if I discover any flaws about them, but so far, so good!& FYI, these are SHARP. If you are new to using them, be careful, go slow, keep away from children, & make sure you disinfect them before & after use.

All rusted
After receiving them, I put them in boiling water to sterilize them before using and they are all rusted. Didn’t even get to use them because I don’t want to put rusted tools in my mouth. Wasted money!!!

These instruments are perfect for cleaning my dogs teeth. I recently noticed he had not been brushing so I bought these for him to aid in his dental hygiene regimen. He is much happier now and his breath is much fresher.

Great Product, Just What I Needed
These dental tools work very well. My dentist is after me to have Laser Surgery to remove plaque at the cost of $4,400. Another dentist I consulted wanted to remove all my teeth and replace them with dentures to the tune of $10,000! I decided to try to remove as much of the plaque that I could myself, so I ordered these tools. A lot of the easy plaque came off within minutes using these tools. I'm working on the rest a little at a time as they are harder to get to.

Great Smile!!
Just what I needed to complete my morning regimen. Very helpful with remove plaque and tartar as stated on product. I have much healthy teeth and gums. Yes, I can see and feel a difference. This is until my dentist appointment. However, the pick can be sharp take your time while using it.

These are NOT professional quality or a substitute for a professional exam and prophylaxis!!
I spent twenty-five years in the dental field and bought these based on the many reviews that stated they were professional or just like what a hygienist uses. No, they are NOT. The review that stated they were too blunt to be effective is spot on. A warning to all the folks who said what a great value these instruments are because they will save them a $90 dental visit every six months, THEY’RE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A PROFESSIONAL EXAM AND PROPHYLAXIS! During an exam, a patient is checked for oral cancer, cavities, and periodontal disease among other things. I promise you are not cleaning your teeth like a hygienist does. You can’t possibly see where she/he can. And in case my review sounds like I’m making a pitch to line a dentist’s pockets, my dentist husband passed away and I pay for dental services like everyone else.

Love playing with my teeth to keep it clean.
I love being able to play with my teeth like this. To be able to see the plaque build up on my front bottom teeth and actually be able to work on removing it on my own, between my 6 month regular cleaning at the dentist. This is for you. Just the mirror alone is worth it. Because you can also use it for other purposes besides teeth, as long as you keep it clean and not stick it up your nose. But at my age, you get to use it to really see the nose and ear hair so that you can really get rid of as much as possible when you are trimming those areas. If you like keeping your teeth clean, then buy this set.

I like the fact the mirror is magnified
The dental tools arrived on time. I like the fact the mirror is magnified.

Pretty useful
The mirror is not fog proof, but the rest of the three tools are pretty useful. I used them to scale and scrap off tartar from my pup's teeth. It is pretty effective. See result in the picture.

Great quality Dental Hygiene
You should know that there is always a risk on using these types of tools if you're not careful. You can easily damage your gums, recede your gums or create other problems if you're not careful. My dentist doesn't like that I use them, but I don't know if that's because he wants me to come more often to his office. In the end, be very careful using them as they're sharp.Personally I take my time and do it slowly to not damage my gums or cause unnecessary harm to my teeth. Each tool quality is great, good weight and length that it makes it easier to handle. I use them to essentially remove the calculus that happens on the back of my lower teeth. Daily flossing and brushing reduces the time it takes to build up. I'll use these tools once or twice a month. The tools are sharp, unlike the once you buy over the counters at drug stores. I like the sharpness as it lets me be more accurate and work less.I think this is a good tool to use and help complete your dental hygiene at home. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this product and would recommend it.

Goodbye Coffee Stains
I originally bought this product as no matter HOW MUCH I flossed I could not get the stains from drinking French press coffee out from between my teeth. To worsen, whenever I drank red wine, the plaque would turn darker and look awful. I promise this kit with a little elbow grease can get out stubborn plaque between teeth. I am very satisfied and recommend for coffee drinkers like myself or anybody. Only "bad" thing is the mirror fogs up and is useless in your mouth pretty much. For now, I'll enjoy my white smile and plaque free between my regular dental cleanings.

Great product. Using it on my Bishon-Yorkie to remove ...
Great product. Using it on my Bishon-Yorkie to remove stubborn tartar from her teeth. I don’t want her to go under anesthesia with the vet to have it done. Too many scary stories. I’m doing it one tooth a day and it takes me about 5 min per tooth or more to get the tartar off. But I’m happy to say it’s coming off with a bit of pressure and patience. Some skill is required and a calm trustworthy dog helps the process go smoothly.

Turned Teeth Grey
I bought these dental tools to clean extra plaque off my teeth like everyone else, however, after a week the area that I used them on started to turn grey (not the whole tooth just near the sides/inside of tooth wear plaque builds up) as if I caused "trauma" or if the tools have "silver sulfide-containing materials" which can also turn teeth grey. I'm not sure what the case is but the tools definitely caused this, I would just leave it up to the professionals. As a disclaimer I am a very healthy fit individual who doesn't smoke, drink coffee, drink red wine, drink tea, or use dip.
