love it
I have always loved Nightwing. He is practically my favorite hero. This book has such fine detail in the graphics, and an intriguing story. This is a must read.

My favorite Nightwing title in a long time!
Nightwing has been my favorite superhero for most of my life. I was so sad to have to give up on the series during the Dan Jurgen run, but it was too heartbreaking to see the character so poorly handled. I was hesitant to try again when I heard a new creative team was taking over, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance! Tom Taylor understands Dick Grayson better than most DC writers since the original Chuck Dixon series. This volume includes the complete "Leaping Into The Light" story arc, which was a sort of soft reboot for the series. The very first issue of it already feels like a breath of fresh air and the beginning of a new era. And the story continues to build over the next several issues as Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon (who is also better in this series than I've seen her written in a VERY long time) navigate through their uncertain future. Without spoiling anything, the main focus of this first story arc is on Dick coming to terms with his recent inheritance and trying to figure out what sort of impact he wants to have on Bludhaven. It reintroduces classic Nightwing villain Blockbuster as well as introducing a few new enemies. And there's an adorable puppy - so what more could you want?Having already collected the single issues, the main thing that prompted me to also invest in this lovely hardcover edition was definitely the art. I can't possibly express just how utterly gorgeous the art in this series is. Bruno Redondo does a fantastic job with every panel, and he makes the characters so expressive you barely even need the dialogue to follow along the story. I don't know who the colorist was for this volume, but they also did an amazing job. The sunsets and cityscapes are so breathtaking; I've never seen Bludhaven drawn to look so quiet and soft before, but I like it.TLDR: I highly recommend this volume! The story is great, the art is beautiful, and Taylor does a great job of getting these characters back to basics. It's certain to be a favorite for Nightwing fans, but I'd also recommend the book to anyone who is just now looking to get into the series. As it serves as a sort of reboot for the story, it's the perfect jumping on board spot for anyone who doesn't want to have to catch up on the previous decades of Nightwing comics.

This is the kind of Nightwing book that fans need!
Nightwing is my favorite character within the Bat-family. What I like about him is that he's the first one to step out from Batman's shadow and make a name for himself. I like seeing the interactions between Nightwing and the people dear to him and seeing him adopting a cute 3-legged puppy after rescuing her from punks who were abusing her for fun. I was surprised that there have been some new revelations connecting to Nightwing's past. Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo are running the series at a great start! I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next!

sorry I didn’t read this sooner.
First off, I’ve always been a Robin fan as a kid. So Dick’s growth from sidekick , partner, team leader. Had been great reading. This feels like a further growth of the character. Art is beautiful, the storytelling is spot on. Read as a free unlimited but I’m definitely going to get a hard copy of this run. Hope following volume keep it up.

It's a good book
It was a nice book and for the most part I enjoyed it.. But I'm not really into comics that deep and I'm broke so that's why I returned it...More for someone who collects and reads all the comics, than someone who wants an "overview" of who Nightwing is and his backstory.. (Like it would've been nice to see a little more of Batman in there training him..)Again really good book for people who are into comics, but I was kinda looking for more of a backstory for someone who's a "beginner" to comics and not that involved, and who doesn't want to get all of (who knows how many) different books to get the whole story...Nightwing is one of my favorite superheroes though so I love seeing his maturity in this book; giving credit back to the ones who raised him and turned him into what he is...(If only we had more people like him in real life..!)

Nightwing is better than Batman and Harley Quinn
Nightwing comics is best from DC comics now unlike the shows and movies. Batgirl being his lover is better because they’re the same age. Her being with Batman is wrong because he too old. And her being Harley Quinn’s friend is worse because it’s a toxic friendship. Her being with Nightwing is healthy. So DC and Warner Brothers should stop making Batman shows and cancel Harley Quinn and just make a Nightwing animated series or at least being back Young Justice.

SUCH A GREAT WRITING AND ART
I’ll be honest I’m a little bit of a need to come up with although I’ve always loved DC and Marvel. So I thought I would buy this volume of comic books because I enjoyed the preview. Needless to say I absolutely love it! The writing notes tonight getting into such a human character and the art is beyond phenomenal. I look forward to purchasing the rest of this Nightwing run. If you’re looking for a great way to be introduced to comic books then this is it.

The Nightwing run we deserve
If you are a longtime fan of Nightwing, or entirely new to the character, this run of Nightwing is for you. Dick Grayson gets treated the way his character deserves. The writers allow him to be funny, empathetic, compassionate and human. We get to see genuine interactions between Dick and Barbara. We get to see Dick and Tim work together and interact like brothers. There is plenty of action and detective work, but we get to enjoy Dick's life outside of crime fighting as well. He gets to be a complete human being and everything isn't constantly dark and depressing. A very enjoyable run.
