The media could not be loaded. We are using this fountain in a small decorative bowl in an enclosed open area we refer to as an atrium. It runs very well when in direct sunlight and even seems to run when there is a thin cloud cover, unlike the fountain it replaced. The retained charge does not run the fountain during daylight hours. It is reserved for lighting the lights at night.This fountain is much heavier than two others we have had. It rides low in the water and stays in place very well in the middle of the small decorative bowl. Excellent feature.It lights up for five hours or more after a bright sunny day starting when it is dark, not at dusk, so we can enjoy the colors at night.. It would probably run even longer except for the fact that the roof surrounding the atrium blocks the early morning and late afternoon sun. Makes a beautiful nighttime display. The delayed start until dark is an excellent feature.

It is a really pretty fountain with impressive power in the full sun. My red lights stopped working after a few weeks (all of the other colors worked great) and I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement within 2 days. Very happy with this purchase! Adds great color to the garden at night and I find birds splashing in the fountain during the day.

The fountain works. The sensitivity to light/ sun for the solar power is high . Everytime it goes into the shade it stops running. Night time is pretty with the lights. The fountain feels cheap and flimsy. Not what I was expecting. upped the star as the merchant reached out to me and was very helpful with regards to the fountain. Thank you for that.

This is my second unit, my first worked well and was not only beautiful to look at during the day but the colors in the evening were great. I live in a very windy area and the fountain used to hold this device blew over a few times and eventually broke the straw like elements that transfer the water. The last time the parts that hold the straw like elements were lost. I haven't used my latest purchase as it just too cold. Will use as soon as weather improves.

The fountain no longer works at night nor lights up. It lasted just over a month, PAST the return window. Highly dissatisfied and angry.

I like that the fountain works all day. Unfortunately, the colored lights only worked one night. Very disappointing.

I was so wanting this to work like my last fountain. But it only sputters unless it is full sun. It is clear outside this morning and the sun is beating down on our deck. there is no shade, but the sun is not directly on the fountain. it's just sputtering. Don't buy it. It is a waste of money. I did not pay full price because I used my Amazon points so I will keep it for the light show at night when it works! Why it won't work during the day with hot sunny weather and a full charge makes no sense. my last fountain worked with a full charge night and day. Keep shopping and find what works.

The lights on this fountain are amazing. The fountain seems to be durable. The filter does at time become clogged. That means it's doing its job. If you push the unit up and down in the water and create suction you can free the debris without using a new filter.The downside to this unit is that it needs constant direct sunlight to operate at full blast. At night the unit switches to it's battery and the lights turn on and the fountain operates fully until the battery runs out. Our backyard has a fair amount of shade thoughout the day so it doesn't have enough time to charge. It does enough to churn the water so it doesn't allow the water to be ome stagnant.Oh and on windy days the pump is so powerful that the spray will blow the water out of the bath. Good news is that the fountain has a shut off when there is no water so it will not burn out.We would definitely buy this product again. Next year we are going to buy a birdbath and this fountain for our front yard as it has full sun all day out there.

Love this solar fountain with exchangeable heads. With the addition ‘of arms’ it prevents the fountain from moving around in my bird bath. Now I don’t have to refill every 5 or 6 hrs. And one of the best features is the colourful lights that come out in the dark.I’ve had other fountains but they would move around frequently and it cause very low water level in a short period of time. I’d recommend this fountain for anyone who loves watching birds enjoying themselves. No regrets purchasing this fountain .

Smaller than expected. Doesn’t give off much light and “fountain” aspect is underwhelming. Overpriced for what it is. Put item together per instructions. Lasted one day in the pool and then sunk to the bottom of the pool. Do not recommend and returning the item.

It works better than expected! Easy to assemble, and the suction and spray heads are strong, producing at times upto about 12" streams upwards. The evening lights combined with the fountain makes it entertaining 👍
