Works beautifully
The sound is excellent, product was well packaged. Bluetooth works absolutely fine and it doesn't drain my batteries. ❤️ As for the recording elements, the unit can only record up to 10 minutes, with total absence of noise reduction both for built in mic and an aux cable. Recording is also in less than decent mono quality. The design is so pretty, the style is reminiscent of the 50s to 60s. Studebaker made an excellent product and I'm happy to have trusted them. 👍🏻 😊

This little portable cassette player works really well.

Works great with One flaw
Sound is as great as you’d expect from a tape player and all the functions work well. The one issue is (as other reviews have stated) that the door is lose and pops off partway at times. My son very quickly figured out to fix it and to open the door is a specific way as to avoid it getting lose again. If we’d paid a lot more for it I’d say that’s an issue but for the price…eh. It looks great and the record function is a super fun part of it. We found blank tapes and he’s loving using the microphone to record things.

Bummed!
Bought this for my son for Christmas, it fell over on his night stand and the front cover broke off. Bought him another one to replace it, he takes it out of his bag to find the front cover broke off again! Not meant to be an actual Walkman or “walkabout”. If it stands still without touching it, it works great. Unfortunately my son also trashed both boxes so I can’t return them.

OK, it's not bad.
I bought this little device knowing that it isn't top of the line. But I needed a spare and this one was cute. There, I said it. The build quality is OK, if you don't get too rough. The speaker isn't HiFi but it does help when tuning in stations or locating a track on your tapes (then use higher quality speakers or headphones). The radio works as well as I expected, given the crowded urban FM band here. Tape speed is slightly fast, but not annoying..it can be adjusted with a small screwdriver if you're adept. The tape section is very basic. No noise reduction, no auto-reverse, but there is shut-off at the tape's end. There's a switch for BlueTooth, and it pairs very easily with my other devices. Sound quality is fair, and dependent on your speakers. Don't expect high fidelity, it's just cute.

Location matters.
Certain spots in my house I have to hold the radio in hand in order to get a signal.. Antenna doesn't seem to do much but clear the sound slightly.. Overall for the price I am not disappointed because it works great as a radio. As a tape player the function is relatively smooth and simple and I can tell you right now if you're having sound issues it might be because your tape is old because I have some new tapes and some old tapes the new ones sound beautiful on this player and the old one sounded a little bit worn and faded. Quality of your media matters with this player.

Good ol’ 90s
After reading the reviews I was hoping that it wouldn’t be defective. The radio is pretty loud and was able to get stations with the antenna. Brings back memories of when I used to listen to the radio a lot on my Walkman and cassettes. Love it!

I wanted a cassette player because I get nostalgic, but all the cassette players had bad reviews 😕 they said that it was better to buy an old one and refurbish it. Good idea? Yes, maybe. Am I going to do it? Obviously no. So I decided to buy this one a year ago and it was the best purchase ever. The earbuds included are obviously cheap but the sound quality of the speaker is good. It has one year with me, with constant usage and it has never eated a casette or damaged them in any way. Yahoo There are more colours available which is nice, because when I brought it, the only available was the Rose one (still nice though). I'm really happy with my purchase and I brought another one for my dad for Christmas!

A very attractive and multi purpose cassette player. Sound quality as expected, with Bluetooth a nice surprise. A great product for listening to your music on the deck this summer.

I tried a different cassette player on amazon and they had a great tape deck but terrible radio player that the slightest bump would change the station or cause static.... THIS ONE IS GRET FOR RADIO! It is sturdy and can handle being bumped around without concern. The dial and buttons are good. My only concern is the tape deck. It ate my first tape and when I try to record music it sounds like it is always dying even with new batteries placed inside. I have a cool radio player now but I wanted to make tapes for hiking away from radio towers to save on phone and prt charger battery. I love making tapes. So this bumbed me out as time keeps proving no one except Sony knew how to make a proper walkman.

If you're a heavy metal leftover from the 80's like me, you love it loud. This portable casette player is fine for the money, comes with ear buds, has an external speaker, has attractive appearance but is underpowered. Even at max volume, not very loud. It gets the job done but nothing to write home about.
