Best replacement ever. I'm a Hyper X gal all the way. Rip the last cord we had a good run. Don't hesitate it works just like the new one that came with the original headset. Thinking of buying a back up ;)

Took better care of it than the OEM cable that lasted me a year+ and it started having the same issue with the audio cutting out within a month with lower use. About 2 months in and I need to play with perfect posture; I'm sure it'll be unusable rather soon. Bad quality wiring and low durability. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Bought this replacement cord for my Hyperx Cloud MIx headphones as the original cord (after years of use) had stopped playing sound out of my right ear. This cord works as advertised and fixed my issue. Just bought this a week ago so I can't speak to the longevity but the cord quality appears to be better than the original that came with my Cloud Mix headphones.

I have bought 2 of these replacement cords now and both have stopped working after 8 or 9 months of use. The cord bends where it enters the controller and ends up getting a short in the wire and will slowly stop working. This is probably due to how the controller is held and if it wasnt as close to my body during use it wouldnt be an issue.

Now I can get back into my game and hear clearly. My old one had a short I’m guessing. Worth every penny. Braided cable is a plus.

Bought this cable as a replacement for another replacement cable. The original cable that came with the headset lasted 3 years. First replacement lasted a year an a half. Then I bought this cable. My first one lasted 8 months. Wasn't as long as the other replacement, but maybe it was a fluke. My second one only lasted 3.5 months. Both failed the same way, with the left ear suddenly dropping in quality at certain wire angles, and within a week losing all sound in that ear. Looking online, I found posts with the same experience and time frame of around 3-4 months. Of note is this cable and my 1st replacement aren't from the same seller. I use my headset almost every day for several hours, but I'm not a very animated person. I generally take care with my headset and have a holder for it. While it did work, the sound quality was fine. Overall the cable might work in a pinch but there's better options for the same price, and its likely to quit on you before you hit the 6 month mark. And when that happens, its likely to go from first issue to total sound loss before a replacement can arrive.
