We experienced a very tough case of fleas after moving to the country. It took about 10 weeks to fully eliminate them. I tried multiple treatments. I was vacuuming and treating the carpet, pet bedding, pets and keeping everything clean. I ended up looking at the Texas A&M website for flea control and this light was suggested to add to my chemical treatments to fully catch every stage of flea. IT WORKED! It mainly caught the baby fleas along with a few other bugs. I plugged these in next to where the pets sleep and over 4 weeks it was covered in fleas. It really helped me get the infestation under control because they kept evading the chemicals. I had to use Seresto flea collars for the cat and dog to finally knock them out as the dips and topical treatments were not helpful. I had no idea there were even this many fleas inside the house because I never saw them. I would only see them on my pets. I assumed they picked them up from the deer and other wildlife that come up to the backyard. Will always use these as part of a regiment from now on.

These are excellent value, they work fantastic but you have to understand the limitations.My workshop was infested with fleas, first time we've experienced this here. I couldn't walk in there and sit down at the workbench without getting five or six fleas Jumping On My Feet.You have to understand the limitations of this tool, it's only one tool out of many you're going to need to fight a flea infestation.The first thing I did was spray the entire yard with talstar-p, then we began putting salt down on the carpeting and leaving it overnight and vacuuming it up, we put the dogs on NexGard and gave them flea baths with real pesticides in the shampoo which killed the fleas that were currently on them.I put the glue traps in the shop, I kept the dogs out of the shop for 2 weeks and within the first week the glue trap was filled with fleas. I replaced the glue trap inside the light holder and only got one or two more fleas in the next week.Once again we spread salt down on the carpet and all along the floors, you can use diatomaceous earth as well but plain old salt works better, it dries out the eggs and let you vacuum them up..It's been 3 weeks I can walk around barefooted in the shop without having fleas jump on me, the dogs don't have a single Flea on them...So yes these work, but they're only one step in a multi-step process to eliminate fleas and if you think you're going to do it without using chemicals then you're fooling yourself, if you try to do it the natural way you're going to be fighting fleas forever.And for reference we live on a 40 acre ranch, I only sprayed taltar-p around the residence and around the shop, it can be purchased here on Amazon as well..Now that we've gotten rid of the fleas and ticks, it'd be nice to do something about the Flies which are unbearable this time of year.

Easy to assemble

These are amazing. On the day after I put them out, the sticky surface covered with fleas. Within 2 weeks, fleas were under control and my 4 cats were hardly scratching. Have not had a flea outbreak in 10 months. After fleas are under control, change sticky pads every 4-6 weeks and will keep them under control.

It does work as advertised it will catch flys etc the bulbs I got just didn’t last very long

This is the best! Last year we had a flea problem and I put two or three of these out. Within a month the fleas were pretty much gone. It's great because there's no chemicals to worry about the cats being around and these also trap other nasty things like spiders. I definitely recommend this product.

Serves the purpose. I even caught a baby snake.

They work, but are limited because they have to be near an electrical outlet. I like the rechargeable ones better. The light bulbs burn out easily if they are bumped. Last time I purchased this style the bulbs could not be replaced through the vendor.
