The Wild Unknown Alchemy Deck and Guidebook

Absolutely beautiful deck, I adore The Wild Unknown Tarot, it was my first, and when I saw this I had to add it to my extensive collection. The artwork is beautiful and the accompanying book is detailed and a lovely read. Highly recommended

This deck is visually stunning and thoughtfully designed, with symbolism that invites deep personal reflection. The alchemical themes feel meaningful and transformative rather than superficial or gimmicky. The cards are high quality, the box is solid and well made, and the guidebook is clear and engaging. Like all Wild Unknown decks, it feels intentional, powerful, and beautifully crafted.

If you're drawn to the esoteric, mystical and spiritual sciences, this deck is a treasure trove of visual inspiration. The hexagonal card shape is certainly eye-catching, but it can be tricky to shuffle. However, this minor inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the deck's beauty and depth. The pack has only just arrived and I can't wait to start working with them. I already have her Archetype cards which I love. I have done some reading around alchemy as a developmental tool, and these will be great for helping me understand the concepts/process as well as supporting my own inner journey. The book is great, as are the cards. Kim's decks are so creative and different. The cards are big, and their shape makes them a bit awkward to shuffle - I only have small hands, but I can live with that.

I've bought nine decks in total off the Wild Unknown Tarot equivalent series. I own 2 myself, the rest I've bought as gifts. Seriously deep, easy to read - and my favourite deck is the Archetypes Deck (over Tarot or other types I've tried.) The Spirit Animal Deck is amazing, too. I've not had a chance to look through this deck yet, but I thought my sister would connect with it most, potentially. I bought her the Spirit animal deck, too. For me Kim Krans Decks are the very top level when it comes to Tarot divination. Deep. Mystical. Profound. Eerie at times (but in a welcome way) and incredibly well written. Equally effortlessly to read, too. Which I appreciate (as I'm living post 2 brain injuries, have A.D.D and dyslexia.) Seriously could not recommend her Decks more, and I've tried many. Id start with Archetypes then Animal Spirit, though (as I know these Decks.)

I love Kim Krans work and this deck is beautiful and the book a stunning masterpiece. My only gripe is for the awkward shape and a very matte finish which makes handling them very challenging. It’s near on impossible to shuffle them in the traditional way and even riffle shuffling means the cards no longer align at their points/sides and they’re not easy to make neat again. I rarely use her archetype deck for similar reasons - beautiful imagery, a pain to handle. I appreciate the novelty value of a deck that is cut like this, but as a professional reader, with many decks to choose from, those that are not comfortable in the hand tend to stay at the bottom of the pile. It’s a real shame, I would be sure to use it more regularly if it were easier in the hands. I rated it a 3 purely on the basis it is difficult to use on account of its awkward shape and less than ideal card stock.

I took notes from the introductory pages, loved the premise, tried the garden spread. love the empowering dynamic, the made to measure, the rigourous honesty. Try the mess. :D

This is an amazing deck and the layouts and reads that come from it are very on point. I do find you need to use your intuition and think outside the box for the meanings in the messages. Overall great! Only thing worth mentioned they are very hard to shuffle. I have to split them up to properly shuffle. So there are too many but also they stick together and the shape of the cards makes it harder to hold when shuffling because they move around. But honestly it's worth the inconvenience.

Another incredible deck from Kim Krans. For me there is no other oracle deck producer like her. Smart, deep and alchemical, it'll have you looking at life in a whole new way.
