Just received this cable today to plug my Xbox Series X to my gaming monitor which offers 1440p at 120hz via DisplayPort only. Plugged it up to each and plugged the pigtail into a usb charging block. Adjusted the settings on my Xbox and voila. It worked on the first try. I will continue to test for long term reliability, but so far so good. I think a lot of people’s issues could be traced back to the pigtail not receiving enough power or their system’s settings.

Just a note and caution for my fellow gamers. This unit did not work for me and it is my fault. I didn't understand that I needed a bi-directional solution to plug in and use my DisplayPort interfacing HP Reverb VR headset. Please don't make the same mistake if you are looking for a solution to plug in your own VR headset. Beyond that, I think this product works as advertised and is a good product. If you want to simply take an HDMI output and route it to a DisplayPort input, this should work for you.

this is a well made product. the plugs fit the ports snugly and perform well. i would buy it again if needed.

This one is perfect! I think I had it for about a year with no issues. Good quality, no issues with functionality. Highly recommended

Had to return it. Ordered to use with an Xbox Series S and 1440p 144hz LG monitor that doesn't have HDMI 2.1. was initially encouraged because a review said they used it with an Xbox Series X and 144hz monitor but didn't work for me. Connecting the adapter to the Series S through HDMI and to the monitors display port would only allow 1080p @ 120hz. Tried every possible setting (on the xbox and monitor) but no dice. Monitor is an LG 32gk650f
