HO Scale Model Rooming House Kit

This was an easy model to build and looks great in my transition era train yard. It came together easily but on my modle had a little excess flash on some parts that was easily removed. The instructions are a little unclear and had a little trouble figuring out how the pipe and spout went together and how to orient the tower on the base. Painting and building took about 2 hours and I made a bass and added a couple HO figures to complete the scene. Turned out great and really liked the included pump house/tool shed. It looks great and was a pleasant way to spend an evening.

A lot of assembly required but when finished it’s a nice addition to the garden.

The building is very nice and fits in on any layout based in the the steam or preservation era. However it is quick difficult to build for a beginner. Although I would still recommend it for a beginner although someone with a steady hand and a lot (and I mean A LOT!) of patients might have an easier time. But if you pay close attention to the directions and pictures on the instruction paper, be patient, use a good glue and have fun while building it. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting into, currently into or re entering the hobby!

Nice building. Pre-built. Merchant did not properly package, so it arrived damaged, and one side was broken. I had to re-glue it. Looks good enough for a model railroad.

Seller was right that the box said HO scale, but after assembly it is more along to N scale. BUT it is an interesting build. Instructions are not detailed.
