Not worth it . Doesn’t hold the curls and it’s difficult to wrap the hair around the head band. Wouldn’t recommend go for rollers instead of this

For the price of this product ($10 USD) I found this to be a good value. I have long, frizzy, wavy hair that tends to hold traditional curling wand curls, and went into my first trial with reasonable expectations (e.g. I didn't expect the frizziness to go away with a heatless wrap alone). The product met these reasonable expectations, so I was pleased. For me it works best to blow dry my hair until 85-90% dry (to address my frizziness primarily) and then put the wrap on overnight. I was able to sleep in it without too much difficulty, but I did not use the alligator clip (it still stayed in place). The next morning I was very pleased with the results, and the curls held up through a commute and presentation at work with a bit of hairspray. For my hair type this isn't a complete replacement for heat, but it does decrease the amount I would use as I didn't need to use a curling iron or straightener to get a finished look.

I like that this product came with a zippered case, two hair ties and a clip. It is long enough and soft, making it easy to use and wear. Negative was that the fabric was poorly made and not sewn securely around the foam roller. I guess you get what you pay for, but I still used it and it definitely worked on my hair after just 2 hours.

I originally wanted to buy the original, more expensive version, but I found this version coupled with prime and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. I have long hair, so I was worried about all of my hair fitting but it did. At first, I tried to do this with my hair damp out of the shower and blow dry it. It did not work for me. I tried to do it with hair completely blow dried and sleep with it-it did work but I found it works the very best if you dry your hair, and then mist it, like the directions say. I am so happy I purchased this product, because I can curl my hair beautifully without adding heat damage to it! I think this is worth the money! Just follow the directions to a T.

I admit, I was skeptical when I ordered this, but wanted to try it. I have very thick, naturally curly hair, and hate spending more than 15 minutes on my hair. I wrapped my very slightly damp hair around it and used an extra scrunchie to hold it back. Didn't bother me at all while I slept. Woke up in the morning, pulled out the rod, and amazing curls, exactly what I wanted! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my hair in back didn't get any curls. Gonna work with different methods of wrapping and see what I get. I highly recommend getting one!

This is definitely something that has a learning curve. Watch as many YouTube videos you can. Practice it until you get the technique down. Find a better clip to keep the curling rod in place. Get it as tight as you can. Once you get it down pat, cut the rod for the length you need. This thing is way too long and my hair is down my back. Then, invest in a roomy silk bonnet to sleep in. That will keep it nice and frizz free and help keep the rod in place. I thought it would be uncomfortable to sleep on my side but it wasn’t. It was like a little extra pillow. You can’t beat the price but unless you learn how to use it, you’ll end up wasting your money.
