I bought this because my husband took the previous plastic insert and used it to make a gauge holder in his car. He had cut it up, so there was no going back. I had thought I'd need to find someone with a 3D printer to make a replacement, but lo & behold, you can buy them on Amazon! This fit perfectly into my standard Lowe's base. I didn't think I would need all of the parts but my old hand wheel had rusted so I replaced it with the new one. It fits perfectly and holds my umbrella so it's not leaning drunkenly and threatening to fall on me. Amazon to the rescue!

Would have preferred tighter fit to keep water out of the umbrella base

It is a good product however it didn't fit my umbrella with the pieces that it did come with. It was missing a plastic cufflink which I assume was the actual fitting piece I needed.I chose not to bother with attempting to get a replacement. Instead I purchased a whole new stand.I would have made it 5 stars 🌟 but I took 2 off for missing pieces.

It comes with 6 pieces! For all of the people leaving negative reviews saying it comes with 4 have not read the details in the seller's description. It clearly states the pieces are shipped inside each other. It's pretty obvious when you get them as well! Just look at them and take the smaller one out. I mean come on people. Leaving negative reviews because you can't read hurts a seller from selling their product. By the way, this worked for me! I've already lost 2 umbrellas which I've taken down in bad weather, but they just like to bend or fly away. They are so sturdy now!

We live in the Phoenix metro area and have a lot of dust storms in the summer. Last year one of our umbrellas flew out of our yard and landed in a neighbors yard behind us. When we got our umbrella back the ring that takes up space in the stand was missing. We never found it. We used wood shims to hold the umbrella pole in the stand until I found this kit with the various rings in the diameter we needed. The smaller ring is perfect for our stand and umbrella. While we don’t need the other parts right now we’re keeping them just in case we will in the future.
