Do these get hot at all?

I haven’t used them a lot but I’ve never felt them hot.I have them in a display cabinet and they’re great.

Could you separate them into x2 lots for kitchen cupboards

All eight lights are fed off one power block. (4 come off each side of the block). If the block was placed centrally and the lamp wires are long enough you could light two areas. Otherwise you will need two power blocks and I haven't seen those sold separately (because I haven't looked for them).

Can you buy extra junction ports?

The box that all the lights connect to has USB wire, so you would be unable to link multiple boxes. Not sure if you could link using a wire with same plug as a light but then you run the risk of the lights being dimmer. Probably best answered by the seller. Sorry!

Does anyone know how long the wires are. Or the furthest point from the tip of one to the tip of another stretched out?
