High Carbon Is The Way To Go!
If you're a professional drywall taper and hand finish your angles you either like your angle knife stiff or limber. This is a STIFF knife (not overly stiff) like they all used to be years ago. It's worth the premium price for the quality. If you take care of it it should last a good long while.

Bought the high carbon 6 on accident. Minus the little rust you get, it's a great knife. Stout and balanced with a great stuff blade for prefill/hot mud and spotting screws.

Use sanding sponge on blade before use. Must get the clear coating off blade before using.
I'm a union drywall finisher and sheetrock knives are best on the market. Hands down. Top quality from top to bottom.
