I love these things. They are so easy to wrap around a bundle of cords. They stay in place and hold securely. Best of all, they do NOT pick up cat and dog hair like the ones with Velcro do (yuck!) I've just ordered 3 more sets. My house is gonna be a lot neater with these nifty little suckers!

These ties are perfect for charging cords, headphone cords and other skinny cords. Keeps everything organized instead of spending time unraveling tangles cords. Great for quickly finding a cord while on a plane. Everyone should own these.

Of course I meant to control cables with these, but they never made it past the grandchildren. I've found a better solution for cords. These have been in play ever since I received them for various games and uses. They are thick and soft foam in playful colors that beg to be twisted into countless shapes. We've made foam people in funny poses, animals, jewelry, letters and shapes. They haven't been put away yet. I'm sure they'd be fine for cords as long as this fairly thick foam didn't overwhelm them, and at 7", they're only going to wrap a few times, and maybe not tightly enough for smaller cords, but on the other hand, I highly recommend them as toys. Even I have had fun with them and my grandson is now making a stop motion animation film with them. For cable containment, I've found rubber coated garden wire is a great solution. It comes in three thicknesses. The thinnest version is great for camera and iPod cords and the 'light duty' thickness is great for appliance cords. I can cut the garden wire any length I want with wire cutters and it's really cheap for this use. These colorful cable ties are simply too much fun for tying cords.
