I have a closet where switch is outside. Kids kept forgetting to turn off. I can install any smart switch to auto-off after X minutes. I ordered two of these for the garage so I could have one switch at the interior door and one at the exterior man door. Install was as easy as swapping the light switch and configuring the switch in the app. Synching to the remote was simple and quick.

Easy instillation, works perfect

The installation was quick, but the remote pairing setup difficult. You must first set up a 2.4Ghz connection before you can pair the remote, even if you don't intend to use the wi-fi feature, let alone a smartphone. Warning: The downloaded app insists that you turn on Bluetooth and Location, but then wants permission to turn on your camera??! What? It occurs to me that is may be an effort for the manufacturer's left wing government to use as a spy tool.

i had lots of issues with the internet conection at fir it turn on then it stopped working out of nowhere and couldnt connect the remote it worthless i endded up reading reviews and i saw that sometimes it comes defective.

The unit delivered would not pair with its own remote, which was my primary reason for purchase. I tried multiple times and even tried a new battery. I gave up on the remote switch and tried to setup pairing to an iPad. It would not connect to WiFi either , even after reconfiguring my systems to assure it was using the 2.4 GHz radio. I tried both the “easy” mode and “AP” mode. Neither worked. Finally just removed the switch and am having a replacement shipped. We’ll see if it was just a defective unit or just a poor product. I am curious as to why if it comes with its own remote… why wasn’t the remote paired and tested?Edit: received 2nd unit and the remote paired without issue. WiFi still would not connect. Tried many different options, none worked using either easy method or their AP method. Contacted Gosund service, no help. Sent the second unit back.Ordered an ORVIBO version of this switch. The remote paired and the WiFi connected on the first attempts.

Won't work with remote, wifi,Bluetooth,just a stupid green flashing light

I was unable to get them to work. The directions were incomplete and schematics were unclear. I didnt attempt to install before the return period expired or i would have returned them.
