Dental Retainer Case with Dental Bath – Dual Purpose Hygienic Denture Case for Storage and Immersion of Mouthguards, Ortho Retainers + Dental Appliances (Beige)

The case supplied with my Invisalign retainers is not deep enough to immerse the retainers in water. After reading that the best way to keep my retainers clean is to soak them in water with a little castille soap for a short time each morning (and then in 50:50 white vinegar and water solution once a week) I looked for a case that would be suitable. This one does the trick. It's deep enough, but also not so unattractive that I don't want to leave it on show in the bathroom whilst the retainers are soaking. It's sturdy enough to keep in a drawer for the rest for the day, with small ventilation holes to keep air circulating around the retainers when they're not being soaked. Perfect for the job, and not expensive at all.

Bought simply as an Invisalign retainer bath. Left on the bathroom counter for a few hours with my retainers in, along with a RetainerBrite tablet and water. I came back to find the bath empty and the water had leaked out.I'm not sure why the inner bath/tray has to clip in from the outside, it could simply sit in as the lid clips shut and so it would be held in that way. Because of this it means there are holes in the outer shell for water to leak out.Such a shame as the dimensions and materials used feel decent, if only the decent had been thought out a bit more and the holes removed, it would have been perfect. Instead I've had to throw it.

Difficult to open. Gets liquid in the base. Bought for aligners while they’re out ... use a ramekin. Much less likely to get knocked over

It's a neat case that's much more robust than those from the dentist/orthodontist, great for cleaning retainers in and super smooth and easy to clean. Can't see much that could wear out and if it did get really dirty the lower section can be unclipped from the lid for deep cleaning.

I was hoping to enclose a small partial denture in liquid for discreet storage, but it just leaks everywhere. Ok for storage I guess. But nothing else.

Good size for braces retainers and slightly larger than the one purchased from my orthodontist. A good size for an older teen/adult retainer. Easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m fully aware of the description and that was stated that it has holes on the top which was fine by me, however the box is leaking from all sides. If you have liquid inside it’s impossible to open this thing without getting your hands wet (even if it’s filled halfway).If plan to buy it just as a dry retainer box then I would rate it as 4/5 but there are other cheaper and not-so-bulky options.

Fits both retainers in and can also be used for cleaning/soaking them.Sturdy enough to withstand a 15year old throwing it in his bag for school etc
