If you’ve made the unfortunate mistake of breaking the green cord that came with your service, this works! I bought and returned 5 different cords. Even the cord recommended by AT&T did not work. The connection must be rj11 on both ends. They recommended ANY connection and that’s incorrect. A regular phone cord does not work and they offered to come out for an obscene amount of money to fix a $10 problem and replace ALL of my equipment. My next step, as this was my 6th try was to repair the old cord but it required $40 worth of equipment……. A wire cutting kit, connector etc. I would like to give thanks to Reddit, detailed Amazon reviews and YouTube but AT&T’s proprietary BS can kiss my natural black boots as they did nothing but add confusion, give me bad advice and try to get me to commit to a tech coming over my house in a wide window of time that I don’t have. If you have ATT internet that demands an Ethernet cord with the old school phone jack connection, search no further. This is the right one. Time is worth money and I spent way too much time avoiding a technician but if this review will save you a trip to Best Buy, Menards or a voyage down the YouTube rabbit hole and a 45 minute phone call to ATT, I’ll know my plight was not in vein. I’m glad I didn’t let my internet provider financially sodomize me any further and all it took was $10. I wish I saw this cord first. God bless my internet connection, I can now sit on my couch and watch my insanely large TV instead of squinting at my phone. I also want to give thank to Alexa as my home is on voice command and I forgot where my light switches are. I’ve also gone 5 days without mj morning weather/traffic report and was forced to look outside to see if there was snow without Alexa telling me what to expect. I don’t know what happened to my dictionary so I could no longer ask her questions and was forced to interact with my family. It was a long 5 days without WiFi. It was like the 90’s but I was the only one loving it.

I needed high quality RJ11 cables to make various connections in my computer cabinet. I ordered several of both the 6 and 3 foot sizes. They go from my wall jack, to my telephone surge protector, to my internet gateway and to my router. I recently upgraded some of my computer devices and wanted to help ensure interference free communications. Ordinary flat cables would have probably been OK, but I chose these better insulated cables because I was concerned about interference possibly occurring between various closely spaced devices, power supplies, etc. on the bottom shelf of my cabinet which I could not move.

I got this cable to replace the one my puppy chewed. It is better quality than the one my wifi provider used.

This cord replaced my green AT&T cable that ran from the wall outlet to my modem. With the fifty foot length I can now run the cable from one room into another so that I can have my computer table out of the living room.

In the description they clearly state CAT5 / CAT5e UTP with RJ11 6P4C. UTP stand for Unshielded Twisted Pair, and they quote in further details "Wire Twist: 2 Pairs, 4 Conductors" This is FALSE! I opened up the cable and it's just 4 flat NON-TWISTED wire in a bundle. That violates CAT5 rating. Most people don't have issues if it's just used for short distance voice grade DSL data rates. The issues would arise with crosswalk signal loss over long distance, especially if bundled along power or other communications wires. Whats worse I emailed the manufacture before buying stating if it was what I needed. They didn't mention it was not twisted or not real CAT5 rated. They Lied! Again don't buy this, it's not CAT5 UTP wire. Return and look elsewhere!

Lost its connection after a few months, added a new cable and internet starting working properly again. Do not recommend this product I threw it out.

It is hard to find decent quality RJ11 cables these days. This cable seemed decent although when I checked the end to end resistance values on the conductors before putting the cable into service there is a .2 ohm difference on the W/B pair on a 15ft cable. Not so great. The inner conductors are also W/B & W/BR which is odd.
