Beauitful toy
My 2 year old plays with this toy every day. The dump truck moves nicely along our hardwood floor and the small construction pieces are fun for my son to put in and take out. The backhoe loader is beautiful and both toys have really nice vibrant colors and are well made. I ended up taking away the trailer for the backhoe loader as my son thought it would be fun to use as a scooter.... otherwise, great toy!

Fun set
Our two toddler boys (4 & 2) LOVE this set. It's sturdy with vibrant colors. I do wish all the pieces would be wood, the tires are plastic and don't quite spin. All in all our kiddos love it and I'd recommend it for sure.

Provides hours of imaginative play time
I got this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson to play with while we hang out together. He loves diggers and dump trucks and this does not disappoint! We had such a great time playing with the little Melissa and Doug garage, that I decided to get this also. Again, providing hours of loading and dumping the 5 little pieces that come with it. Taking it on and off the trailer, hooking it up over and over again. Great for dexterity and he is just beginning to use imagination. Now he talks to himself while he is doing all the truck noises. Putting wooden blocks, match box cars, etc in the dump truck and driving it all around. I am so glad that I got this! I also purchased a Melissa and Doug train set for later on in the rainy season. I know he will love this too!

Love M&D
My almost two year old loves diggers and since he’s a younger brother, all his toys are hand me downs. Since we have the M&D bus and garbage truck both are well loved, this seemed like a great addition. My little guy LOVES the digger. The dump truck is awesome too, but it’s all about the digger. M&D wood toys are awesome for kids, they love them, and this particular little guy would make a great gift.

GREAT TOY
Our 2 year old grandson loves playing with this car carrier. It is well built and holds up to being dropped on the floor a lot. Would definitely buy this again.

Mostly natural wood with some accents of color pain. All moving parts are fun to use.

Melissa & Doug are a STAPLE in our home and this truck is an example of why
Absolutely solid. I trust M&D trucks to withstand my 1 and 3 year old kids... and that's alot of dropping, slamming, and etc. I have never experienced a broken M&D vehicle (we have the bus, plane, dump truck with loader, the large car transport w/ 6 racecars, and the Horse trailer/truck combo), all withstand the test of time. My son got this one for his birthday and he loves it (1 year) but his 3 year old sister was quick to want to play with it too! Worth every penny!

Great solid toy.
It’s a toy to last a long time. Trailer hooks up easy and stay connected.

Wooden Toy
Decent toy my son loves it. Only problem is the trailer doesn't attach properly to the dump truck so the back wheels don't touch the ground unless the backhoe is on. Thats just me nit picking! Still 5 outta 5
