I love this cold brew maker. I can customize the coffee as weak or as strong as I like. Sits in my fridge and takes up about the same space as a gallon of milk. I usually pick up pre-ground coffee, but lately I've been grinding it myself on a coarse setting (I like to use places like Whole Foods or Fresh Market that have coffee grinding stations in store for customers, I've also tried Starbucks coffee, and they will grind your beans on site in any Starbucks location). I fill the provided metal filter about 3/4ths full of ground coffee, and then slowly add about a gallon of water. Steep for at least 12 hours (I usually steep for 20hrs for a strong brew), remove the filter carefully, and your cold brew is ready! You can toss the used coffee grounds away, I've been sprinkling them into my garden to drive out pests and enrich the soil. I would buy this product again, and will if this one ever has a problem (but I doubt it will!).

This was designed so well and I don’t have a single bad thing to say. I love the pouring spout from the bottom so that I don’t have to invert anything and risk coffee grounds sneaking out into my drink like with other cold brew kits I’ve had. I love the closed system so that the coffee really tastes fresh even over a week later. The only thing I started doing was using coffee filters to also line the inside of the metal filter just to minimize the amount of coffee ground residue, but that’s not this products fault I think that just happens when steeping pre ground coffee.

First I want to say how I like the size of this jar. For some reason I was thinking it was going to be much taller than it actually it. But it's the perfect size for the fridge. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space. My cold brew concrete tastes delicious and WAY better than store bought. The flavor is amazing especially if you're using freshly ground beans instead of pre ground coffee. I would definitely purchase another one. Prefect for those who love ice coffee and want to make it at home

It does make a gallon of cold brew coffee at a time. The stainless grounds chamber is wide, but doesn't absorb that much coffee. Spigot is easy to dispense it with, and good mixing ability. I've found that pouring the water slower over the coffee gives you a good yield per ounce. I like 12 oz. of coffee per gallon but we all have different thoughts.Only drawback is that it leaves a lot of solids, but they coagulate at the bottom of the jar. I use large coffee filters, and pour the coffee through them into a gallon water container. Yes, it takes a while but you don't have to watch. Once done, the brewer is easy to clean. I just hose out the grounds and coffee and finish in the dishwasher. Good value for the price.

I love this! Both the stainer and pitcher are easy to clean, the pour spout does not drip after shut so no droplets left on the fridge shelf. Great product all around!
