Update: Great shoes
This shoe has a superior fit, wide toe box, heel locked in, plush. The issue I have is that I cannot keep my cadence up (180-190), just feel sluggish compared to Escalante racer and even Bondi 6. Not sure if it is the shape or firmness of the mid-sole or sole it just feels sluggish. Otherwise it is a perfect fit. These shoes just needed some time to loosen up and became my favorite road training shoe. So, per Strava: You've run 1,108 miles on your Topo Athletic shoes. I'll clean them up and use as casual sneakers.I just ordered the Magnifly 5 and hope they are just as good.

Super comfy
I like the zero drop shoes and these fit well and make my feet hurt less. This is my second pair and I love them. They should be about $30 cheaper though.

Very wide, not much cushion
I wear a size 13 and have very wide feet. While these shoes are wide, they’re not as well cushioned as Hooka or Altra. This was my first pair from this brand.

Awesome zero drop intro from Topo
I love this shoe, super comfortable for road running. It didn't have a break in period either. I was able to put them on and go. They feel like the Altra Torin 4 with a bit more cushion and an awesome toe box, feet have room to splay yet the shoe keeps your foot super secure. Definitely a winner from Topo with the first stab at the zero drop shoe game!

Best shoes I've ever worn
Topo Magnifly 4 are the best shoes I've ever worn. The zero drop sole is light weight, super shock absorbent, yet stable. The heel counter and ample collar padding hold the ankle securely without chafing. The last is foot shaped with a wide, high toe box. The tongue is comfortably padded. The mesh uppers breathe well. The lacing system retains tension where desired and the laces hold a knot. The shoes are machine washable. Now my only wish is that Topo would produce a zero drop hiking boot.

Mag 4
I really like the the shoes. Fast shoe for sprints but also comfortable to wear everyday.

Overengineered rigid heel area and huge drop as you move from inside to outside across the heel area
It has that coveted foot shape, however, it feels noticeably snugger in width than my Ultrafly 3 in the same size. It also feels cushioned but responsive.Unfortunately, the inner side of the heel surface area is noticeably more elevated than the outer side, creating a significant lateral tilt in the heel area. I suspect this is related to another reviewer's observation that the shoe "seems too elevated on the instep." I don't know whether this is just due to a manufacturing defect, an improper positioning of the insole at the factory, or a design flaw, but it makes the shoe unacceptable for me. The heel has also a very rigid support contour that digs into my heel-arch junction, probably because that area is really elevated. This may be a front-to-back 0 drop shoe, but it definitely is not 0 drop laterally. This is only my second Topo, but Topo seems to have a tendency to over-engineer heels and make them too rigid.
