What a beautiful book, we've really enjoyed looking through this book.

This is such a beautifully illustrated book full of so many of the amazing animals in our world.We absolutely loved looking at all of the stunning full colour illustrations which really bring these magnificent creatures to life!The book is divided into each continent and the animals that can be found there.From the brightly coloured mandrills in the rainforests of Africa to the majestic humpback whales in the icy waters of the Antarctic.Our favourites were the anteater, the koala and the woodpecker.There is a double spread page for each animal with a small paragraph of information about them.Did you know...* The woodpecker pecks 12,000 times a day on solid wood withour getting a headache - its skull is specially designed for this extreme work.* The anteater's long, thin snout hides a sticky tongue 25 inches long. This is what it uses to fetch ants and termites - its favourite food - out of their nests.* A koala sleeps for 20 hours a day. These little creatures out- sleep even the sloth. Koalas need a lot of sleep because they do not get a lot of energy from their main source of food - eucalyptus leaves.This gorgeous hardback edition would make a brilliant gift for any nature lovers out there!
