Fleas are Gone!
At first I didn't think it worked first dip I washed my cat in dawn rinsed then dipped her. Within a week the fleas were back on her. This time I did the same thing but I let her air dry by my heater instead of towel drying which I believe took off alot of the insecticide and used a cat cone so she wouldn't lick the toxins while it was drying. Its been a week and she hasn't been scratching, no signs of fleas dirt in her fur. Now thats a win. Great product just use it strategically. With both times i dipped her the dip instantly killed the fleas that the dawn did not suffocate / were resistant to. Works better than advantage in my opinion. Great flea solution!

Works BUT BE CAREFUL
This definitely works REAL well. I’m talking like the fleas will be dropping dead on the floor. The only thing I’d recommend is keep an eye on ur cats make sure they DO NOT lick themselves at all unless they are completely dry. Or a cone may be needed. It is toxic so if they lick they might get sick, my cat started drooling from licking his paws so I made sure to rinse his mouth and keep a VERY close watch on him until he eventually napped and was dry. I would also use a flea comb dipped in the solution to cover their coat. You do NOT need to use the entire gallon mixture, but it is absolutely necessary to dilute the solution before use.

Before purchasing Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip and Sulfur Dip for ...
Before purchasing Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip and Sulfur Dip for my German Shepard, he scratched all day long unless he was sleeping or playing ball. I had tried many products before trying these two products using along with Dawn Dish Soap. I felt that using all three products helped my dog with his flea, and dog mites problems. The Pyrethrin Dip also keeps the deer flies and horseflies from bothering him. The Sulfur has stopped the itching and the Dawn Soap immediately kills the fleas. I gave a 4 rating because I did try using as standalone with a dog shampoo. The next day my dog leaned onto my leg and I had a leg full of fleas on me.So I felt the product did not deter fleas. Plus I put some of the product in a bowl of water and washed the flea brush in the chemical. It did not kill the fleas on contact.

Oh Well
Didn't work completely, had to reapply, followed directions. Ended up going to the vet, an expensive route, much better for dogs well being.

Quick delivery and worked well
Used immediately when it arrived and treated both 50 pound dogs (approximate). It appeared to kill fleas on contact. I knew the light brown short haired dog had fleas, but could be sure on the very very long haired mop of a black dog. Well, the dip left a little puddle in the bottom of the tub with fleas in it, so it was effective. Used a hair dryer on low—brown dog was dry in a half hour. Black dog also got hair dryer, but will not be completely dry until sometime tomorrow. However, he smells lovely. It was easy to use and I will definitely be using it again in a week, as per package directions. Mixed it up in a gallon water jug and a gallon covered one dog just fine.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING! Toxicity in cats
I followed the instructions perfectly but two of my cats almost died anyway due to toxicity. If you decide to use this on your cat please use LESS than suggested to lower the chance of toxicity from pyrethrum-based flea products - IT IS VERY REAL. After dipping make sure they are completely dry before you let them out of your sight, this will lessen the chance of them licking themselves and ingesting more of it. If you cat is shivering a lot, after dipping and drying, it could be toxicity tremors. If you notice any signs of toxicity rinse them immediately under warm running water, then do it a second time (dry them afterwards - it is very important to dry them), to get as much off of them as possible. This product gets rid of fleas but I cannot, in good conscious, recommend using it but if you do just keep in mind that the active ingredient of this is, pyrethrum, is a toxin. The dip seeps into their skin so it will kill fleas but that same poison is also circulating through your cat. The common signs of toxicity from this is muscle tremors and excessive salivation. If you believe your cat is showing these signs rinse them thoroughly and bring them to the vet.
