kraft-tex™ Style: kraft-tex Combines the Best of Leather & Fabric - Sew 27 Projects

If you have worked with Kraft-tex and like it this is a great pattern book to learn other uses. If you haven't used the product yet you may want to order a yard and play with it--it requires a large size needle, a machine with a strong motor (not a professional machine but not a light weight either), and you have to have some patience to work with unwieldy material that is stiff....but the rewards are worth it. You get a leather like look, feel and durability without the weight or price of leather.

I have read the book and there are a couple cute projects shown, however I have not yet made any of them. It is well written and will be easy to follow along when I do decide to make something from it.

I expected a bit more sofisticated patterns from a purchased book. CT Publishing should offer most of these as free patterns on their website in order to sell more product. They should consider using sites like Lion Brand yarns as an example; offer good free patterns that use specific products that they sell. I was kind of disappointed in this purchase.

It is good if you dont expect too much. It didn't have what l wanted, how to emboss on kraft tex although the blurb mentions it. It is mostly on how to sew it, which is great if you haven't sewn much. I'm wondering if the hard copy book may have more.

I purchased this book used and it is a great idea book and I only paid a couple$$ for it . However after I got it I realized many of the projects are available free on the C and T website.

Liked this leather substitute, Though a bit pricey. End result was really good.

Well written. Lots of ideas to inspire all crafters out there eager to try this new media (krafttex). I bought this book as a 'second hand' but it looks like brand new to me.

Did what I expected it to do. Washing it first definitely made it more supple, I haven't done a lot with this product but I can see it's possibilities
