Beautiful machete
I love the machete it’s very sharp and well made.

Needs a bit of work
This parang is a beautiful piece, though mine came in with some significant scoring on the blade. The pitted raw steel is gorgeous, the scoring was closer to the cutting edge. I spent an afternoon buffing them out with sandpaper and now it's spotless. Still though, I feel like for that price, the blade should be spotless out of the box. Also, the sheathe is functional, but nothing special - I'll be making a traditional woodfn one.

Such a beautiful machete!
This machete is excellent: excellent design, well built, comfortable to use. I compared it with my Condor machete (see pictures) and you can see the different. Although it is longer and heavier than the Condor, it is much more easy and comfortable to hold and use. I have used it to chop and cut several small trees and branches (around beer-can-sized) and it did the job like a breeze. The blade still holds sharp so far. In summary, an excellent machete & 10" is excellent size!

I LOVE it. Now I just need some zombies...
I wish I would've gotten the longer 12" version. Keep that in mind if you're on the fence as I was. But, I love this thing - especially for food prep (potatoes don't stand a chance). Baton the hell out of it, too. It won't mind.
