Works as intended. If you need this adapter to change base & lock up ability of spotting scope, this device works & fits as intended. Would buy again if I lost current item.

Fit is great

The release is a good fit but one of my cameras is feeling a little loose atop the tripod. I think I’ll have to add something beneath the release to thicken the padding.

I had previously given my digital camera away, and hadn't noticed the tripod mount was still attached to the camera. I kept the Manfrotto tripod due to its quality construction, but couldn't use it without a mount. This mounts is well-made, fits my tripod perfectly, and the set of two lets me use both a camera and another device, such as a telescope or spotting scope, with my tripod. Very pleased with value of purchase.

I keep misplacing these tripod inserts! This is the best insert for the money. All metal construction and cheap enough to have in evert camera bag.

Works with Manfrotto MT290 tripod.

I bought this quick release plate to use with my Manfrotto tripod/ ball head lock. It does fit the quick release block. But these quick release plates are not built of good quality. Save yourself the headache and money and just buy a Manfrotto brand plate. What broke on mine was the weld on the donut bushing that hold the tightener screw. So once that happens your not able to securely tighten down your equipment to the plate. It just flops and wobble’s making the plate inoperable. I just had to throw it away. I guess thats what you get for a two pack thats made in China for a cost of $10.
