I love the knob design, it makes it so easy to handle!I made Kimchi today before the weights arrived and had to add one immediately of course, fits perfectly!Oh, and they even added a recipe booklet, I will definitely try out the fermented Citrus Maple Gingered Carrots, they look delicious!

Thought fermenting couldn't get better...until these!
Nourished Essentials is genius! New to fermenting last summer, I loved my Easy Fermenter lids right from the start! I loved the Year of Plenty glass weights I was using, although at the time they were made to fit only wide-mouth quart jars. I was able to find 4 of the 8 I purchased that would fit into a wide-mouth half-gallon jar if inserted in a particular way. Not perfect, but do-able. Then Year of Plenty produced the weight is a size that would easily fit half-gallon jars, and I bought a box. They were right! I appreciate that a company values its customers and uses their reviews to make a better product. This was before Easy Weights came out. When I received an email about them from Nourished Essentials, I missed the special deal but jumped on two boxes of them when they became available again. Second best purchase ever (the Easy Ferment lids are first!). Thick and heavy, they hold my ferments under the brine beautifully! They are SO easy to remove from the fermenting jars to taste the product, and then to replace, push down, replace the fermenter lid, a few pumps to remove the oxygen, and done!I now have 6 half gallons and 5 quarts of dill pickles fermenting. No one else in my family ferments pickles and kraut, nor brews kombucha, but they love to consume it! I love to share healthy foods with them. Thanks, Nourished Essentials, for making this successful!

Great For The Price
These are great for the price and perfect for weighing down my fermented foods! I like that they have a small handle for ease of use. These are made of glass and should be durable for a long, long time.

Love these weights !
After taking a class in Dixon, California on making Kimchi and Sauerkraut, I knew I wanted to make them again. So I purchased The Easy Weights with Grooved HandlesSo much better than using a chunk of cabbage to push your ingredients down to keep them under the brine. The weights fit right into my jars and were very easy to place and remove. There was zero worry on my part that the vegetables were not being held under the brine with these. The easy weight cleaned up super fast! I just Ran them thru the rinse & dry cycle of my dishwasher on the upper tray and with them being glass, they do not hold the smell of my Kimchi batch.Would I buy these again "Heck Yes"Would I recommend them Yupper :O)I am a newbie at this fermenting thing, but I am loving itand these easy weights made my second batch worry free for me
