small price to look like a Pro
These are a very nice upgrade to my previous uncoated lead weights. I like using silicone rubber weight belt when I dive because, unlike a nylon belt, it stays in place as I descend. Uncoated weight over time will put small cuts in a silicone rubber belt. These small cuts will become tears the next time you put on the weight belt, possibly resulting in a loss of your weight belt (ask me how I know). Coated weights like these are not only more visually attractive, but they eliminate this problem.

Advertised weight is more than actual weight
Good weights. They say in place while moving. CAUTION: The advertised weight is more than the actual weight. The 4.5lbs is really 4lbs, etc… do plan accordingly. I bought 5/4.5lbs and fell 2.5 pounds lighter than planned. Thankfully the 1lbs were delivered quick.
