Paw Saver!
I’m a multi-dog parent and dog groomer in a location with extreme temperatures-it’s hard on paws! I also specialize in grooming older dogs, and have two myself; they have even more issues with dry, chapped, cracking paw pads. I had been searching for a product to heal, soothe, and condition paws that both worked and didn’t leave greasiness on fur, floors, etc or have an awful, long lasting smell. I use a lot of Burt’s Bees products because they do work wonderfully while being excellent for sensitive clients…and their parents. So, I went right to Burt’s this time, and I couldn’t be happier! This product shows immediate differences in the dogs I’ve used it on (five at this time), even making them more accepting of having their previously uncomfortable feet handled. While I use it on my own dogs regularly, I see most clients every three to four weeks, and I am still seeing a major improvement in the condition of their paws and their comfort. All of this without greasy fur around the paws, prints on floors and fabrics for hours, or a strong and long lasting scent-all of which aren’t applicable when you’re returning a pet to someone who paid you to have them looking and smelling great. This is a miracle, I wish I’d used it years ago!Dogs do lick at it, but not only is it safe, it absorbs quickly and I’ve not had any too interested in more than exploratory or reactionary, brief licking. The scent is light and very pleasant, natural, and dissipates very quickly. I’ve used it on a Pomeranian, Labrador, Mini Aussie, Maltese and Yorkie mix, and a Mountain Cur. They’re all a bit weirded out about you rubbing this on their feet, unless your pet has been conditioned to like and accept this, but if you rub the lotion in your hand to warm it and take it slow, they accept it well. My Pomeranian dislikes his paws touched, and now even he rolls over to allow me (with a sigh) to do this! So, if at first your dog hates it, just be patient and upbeat, keep doing it in short intervals, you’ll both be fine.

Works!
We recently adopted a three year old from rescue, and her paws were so rough and torn up, this worked instantly and amazing! Not greasy, just very softening. And it barely smells like anything. I even put some on my own skin, before I put it on her paws, just to see how it would feel and smell. No irritation, no bad smell, just works very well.

Works great
This is pretty amazing stuff. My husband and I both noticed a difference in the softness paw pads right away.

Rough dry skin on dog
My dog had been licking his legs constantly, to the point where his skin was leathery. I researched some and found information on Burt's Bees for dogs , so I figured I'd try it on him. I works great. In such a short time his skin is softening up and looking a lot better even though he's still trying to lick. We've stopped most of it.

Long Time Customer Until They Changed the Formula
I've been using Burt's Bee Dog Nose and Paw lotion for years. It was easy to apply and my dog loves the taste. He likes his nose and paws whenever I apply it.Until they changed the formula during the pandemic. It wasn't announced and there was no notice of the change. It was the product itself that told the story.I usually keep couple of bottles around so when I purchased this one it didn't flow out the tube and felt greasy. It wasn't runny and it became a chore applying it to my dog.I figured it may be a bad batch and ordered this one on Amazon only to get the same results.Going on social media, I asked the makers directly if they had changed the formula in their products and only got a customer support page. I followed up and didn't receive a reply back despite sending the manufacturing code of the old (good) bottle and the new (nasty) version.Just admit the formula was changed for cost reasons and then we can make informed purchases.I don't even have to open the bottle to tell if it's the old and new formula.I can tell just by shaking the bottle. The new formula is so clumpy, it doesn't shake. You don't hear any fluid motion inside. The old stuff is very runny.

Highly recommend
This is terrific! I don't need very much and it has little to no scent. It soaks right in. I apply it to my dog 1x per week and it keeps the dryness away, even after being in rain or snow. I highly recommend this product for pup's with dry pads.

Excellent lotion for a dog's paws
I bought this for an adorable Shih Tzu puppy that I regularly dog sit because I noticed that her paws had been feeling a little rough to the touch recently. I was a little hesitant to get the lotion initially due to the reviewers who complained that it was too runny but due to the low price and the fact that it doesn't appear to consist of any materials that might harm the puppy, I decided to take the plunge and ordered it along with a couple of other items. The order arrived the very next day through Prime. I have not regretted my decision to get it.Consistency - The lotion is indeed a little runny but if the bottle is shaken before using it to distribute the contents evenly, it thickens up. It has the consistency of moisturizer lotion for people.Smell - I have a sensitive sense of smell and personally I don't feel that this lotion's smell is unpleasant or overwhelming. It has a vague aroma which is kind of pleasant, to me at least.Application and personal experience - I was concerned that the puppy would fight any efforts to have the lotion applied to her paws but the puppy simply lies down relaxed and allows to have the lotion rubbed into her paws without any issues and doesn't make any effort to smell it or to lick it off her paws afterwards. In contrast, when anybody attempts to trim her nails, oh my God, she will fight tooth and nail to stop it from happening. The lotion is usually applied after one of her walks when she is resting and after using it for a couple of weeks, her paws are feeling much smoother and softer to the touch than before. Conclusion - Overall and for the price, this is an excellent lotion for a dog's paws.

Amazing cream!!
My 4 year old labradoodle has had a dry nose for a while now but it had recently cracked and it looked so sore. I thought before an expensive trip to the vets I’d try this cream because of the reviews. Well I was not disappointed! Her nose is so much better! The cracks have gone and it even looks smoother. She cringed at first and you’ve got to massage it in for a while leaving an almost white residue in her nose - that of-course any dog will lick off. And stick with it! It took around 4/5 dats to see a difference as I thought it wasn’t working. It’ll now be something I’ll always have in!

Container could've been better
It does work after a couple of applications. I notice the difference. It is just tricky and hard to get it out from the bottle due to its thick consistency. I had to takr off the lid and squeeze the bottle to get it out which is hard when ur dog does not want his paws being touched or moisturized. Overall, it does work, just have a problem with the container and getting the product out.
